Eugene, Mario and the Michaelangelo's team were fantastic for our backyard landscaping work. They were professional and even went above and beyond to assist us after their work was completed. They are the only landscaping company I plan to use in the future.

  • Brandon Parson's Stump Grinding Service
    5.0
Once again Robinson Tree Service/Brandon Parson Stump Removal did excellent work for our HOA in Fort Mill. This is now the 5th time we have have used this company and as I have said before; we wouldn't look anywhere else, their professionalism and customer service is second to none. This current job included removal of five trees, followed by the stump removal. Brandon came out prior to the job to be sure of all details and possible issues were addressed prior to the start of the work. Communication is always excellent and follow up is the same. I simply can't express how satisfied we continue to be with this company and all its employees. If you have a tree or stump job to be completed, do yourself a favor and call Robinson Tree Service/Brandon Parson Stump Removal. Excellent service and great pricing as well. Thank you Brandon see you next time

  • We Care Tree Care

A tree came down in our back yard taking out a power line and coming to rest on a shed and wooden privacy fence. They were meticulous in cutting up and removing the tree so as to not do any more damage. Highly recommended.

  • Hyatt Landscaping, Inc.
    5.0
Hyatt does outstanding work. From initial contact with Heather in their office, through project planning with Bill, project coordination managed by Cecil, and final installation overseen by Tony, we couldn't have asked for a better outcome to our project. A family-owned and run business, Hyatt goes the extra mile to make sure all your questions are answered. They provided multiple options to meet our project needs, always sensitive to our budget constraints. On-site installation was fast and professional, with nightly clean-up, tarping of exposed soil to prevent erosion and limit mud during brief periods of rain, and final cleaning that included washing down all dirt and soil leavings from the road in front of our house. Hyatt was also very careful with our neighbors' yards, as our lots are small--they sprayed off cars to remove dust and repaired any minor damage to side-yards while being very careful to stay on our property to the extent possible. Our project included a new 512 sq ft paver patio, installation of a gas line for an outdoor grill, and removal and replacement of old landscaping in both the rear and front yards. During the project we exposed existing sprinkler lines that needed repair and/or re-routing; Hyatt also changed some sprinkler lines to drip to keep the new beds watered with minimal waste. Hyatt coordinated all the necessary subcontractors for our project including tree removal, plumbing, and electric work. Hyatt is fully insured and used subs that were likewise insured. Very professional, very attentive, with excellent on-site project management. We'd hire Hyatt again for any future projects we might have

Tree Service FAQ

  1. How much does it cost to remove a tree?

Answer: Typically, tree removal costs between $200 and $2,000. Tree removal costs vary widely based on the number of trees being removed, the height of each tree, the diameter of each tree trunk, and accessibility to the tree. Smaller trees are usually less expensive to remove than larger ones, as are those that are more easily accessible.

  2. Do you need a permit to cut down a tree?

Answer: In many areas, you don’t need a permit to cut down a tree on your own private, residential property. But some municipalities may require tree removal permits for conservation purposes or to comply with local ordinances. When you hire a tree removal pro, they’ll be able to tell you whether you need a permit for your specific tree removal project.

  3. When is a good time to trim trees?

Answer: In most regions, the best time to trim your trees is during the winter months. During the active growing season (spring through fall), trimming your trees can leave them more vulnerable to disease and less likely to thrive. During the winter months, when trees are dormant, trimming them will cause less stress and leave them ready to grow again in the spring.

  4. What is the average cost to cut a tree down?

Answer: Tree removal costs between $200 and $2,000 per tree. Establishing an average cost can be difficult because each tree will be assessed and priced based on factors like height, trunk diameter, and accessibility. In general, smaller trees cost less to remove than larger trees, as do trees that are more accessible.

  5. How much does it cost to service a tree?

Answer: The cost to service a tree is typically between $430 and $1,320. The cost to service a tree depends on several factors, including what exactly you’d like done, the tree’s height, its health, the location of the tree, and local labor costs. The national average cost for tree services is $865. Tree trimming isn’t necessary for all trees but can improve their health and longevity by encouraging new growth.

  6. What is the difference between tree trimming and pruning?

Answer: While tree trimming and tree pruning might appear similar to the untrained eye, they serve different purposes. Tree pruning is used to thin a tree by removing unnecessary or burdensome branches. Tree trimming promotes healthy growth by trimming but not removing branches.
