I am always leery of contractors, especially after last year I had money taken for a deposit amd the contractor skipped town. But Josh and his crew really restored my faith in hiring folks to do work. From the very first call to discuss my project Josh washed me feel comfortable in hiring him. His team was prompt, he made sure to stay in constant contact with me, he provided insight into the what would be good for landscaping in my area. And the finished job came out perfect. My kids and dog love our new turf. The curb appeal of my house is 1000x better. I have no doubt when I list my house it will well sell for top dollar. Can’t wait to hire Josh again to do work at my new property!!

I agreed to an artificial turf lawn replacement for $8000 in September 2019. According to Mike of Envious Lawns, (who also does business under Mikeandsons Services of Tampa Bay, LLC) a roll of turf arrived at my house damaged. The guys "Frankenpatched" my front lawn to solve the problem that day and Mike agreed in writing to order more turf and come back and replace the substandard area within 30 days. Weeks went by and when I questioned him about returning, he asked if he could wait until he ordered more turf for another client and then use the extra to fix my yard, to which I agreed. More weeks went by and I contacted Mike again and he finally set a date to come back, but he failed to show up or even contact me to tell me he was not coming. Now Mike has disappeared and will not even answer my messages or speak to me. Last week, 2 months after my last contact with them, the new manager of Envious Lawns left me a message (which I still have) asking me to contact her about my complaint and when I did, they pretended that they did not know me. All I want is for Mike to replace the badly patched section so it matches the other section of the lawn. In addition, grass from under the artificial turf is growing up through the artificial turf and I have to constantly pick it out. I do not believe they put any weed killer on my lawn for which I paid, but how do I prove that? I contacted them repeatedly in the fall of 2019 and again yesterday and after months of being ignored, I am tired of waiting for them to honor their written agreement and have filed a complaint with the BBB. I have everything documented and in writing.

I called this company about artificial turf repair and re-design. Apparently they install but do no repair or re-design. That is a pretty big red flag, at least to me, but that is not the reason for this review. The person I talked to was very unprofessional, did not seem to know much, and I felt I was getting the run around. I think to get a good rating on Angie's List, the customer experience and service should start with the first point of contact.

They started off with a great deal of positive energy. Beautiful designs were made and we went over every detail. Even though the price was at least 40% greater than the competition, the promise of upscale quality was certainly there. As the project started I became impressed with the quality of their landscaping. Unfortunately, as soon as they put in the plants problems arised. They were very slow repairing the irragation system and promised that they would water everything. This delay hurt the landscape. The $20,000 dollars in trees took a beating. They assured me not worry. As this 2 week project became 4 months I noticed the $4,000 monastary bamboo was not coming back. He assured me that he would take care of it. At the same time he gave me a sample of beautiful artificial turf for the side. He installed it and I came home to a bait and switch. The sample was not the same the one he installed. As time went on, the irrigation system leaked. He promised to come back and never did. Several trees died and the LED outdoor light malfunctioned. I called to bring him back but he never came back. I had professionals come in to clean up his mess. They stated that the workmanship was not high quality and that several shortcuts were used to do this job.

Jay and his team did an awesome job. They removed Astro turf that was too hot for my dogs and deep rooted bamboo and laid grass and plants. I can’t wait to enjoy!

They are reliable and do a good job. He does not come if there are no rains and the grass has not grown at all. They are very good for the money. They are punctual and they finish the job quickly.

We had an EXCELLENT experience with them. We had hired a landscaper to overhaul our entire yard. The landscaper took out everything, including the sod. The landscaper had recommended a company that he used (Florida Turf), who is a middle man. When Florida Turf came to deliver the sod, it was brown and dead. I refused the delivery from them and their driver told me to shut up and that he wouldn't deal with me. A family member recommended that I try to find sod fresh from the grower. When I googled, Council Growers came up. I called and was able to speak to Travis Council who is the owner. He was incredibly nice and spent about 30 minutes talking to me about the various kids of grass. I told him we were looking for a grass that our child could play in and we were considering the zoysia. Travis was able to tell me all about the advantages/disadvantages of the grass and how to take care of it. Not only was Travis really nice, but his prices were VERY reasonable. Florida Turf was going to charge us $2000 for 4000 sq. ft of St. Augustine, which is less expensive than zoysia. Council cut the grass on Monday 8/22/11 and delivered it the same day. The grass was green and gorgeous! Their driver was incredibly nice as well. We paid $1,616 for 4000 sq. ft of Zoysia grass, which was the cheapest price that I had found anywhere. This price included a $249 freight charge and the pallet deposit. They will refund the pallet deposit if you return them. In this case, they were in Wimauma and I'm in N. Pinellas County, so we did not return the pallets. Besides the quality of the grass, I was most impressed with Travis' willingness to take about 10 calls from me regarding questions on fungicide, insecticide and how to use the fungicide we purchased. He's an incredibly nice and patient man and does not get annoyed by questions. I am incredibly happy with Council Growers and would definitely use again.

Overall it was a good experience. I called Alternascapes and they scheduled an appointment to come to my home the following week. After explaining the differences is artificial grass and the instillation process, we decided on what would work best for my situation. We set up a date to for them to come out and start laying the grass. They were right on time and finished the job on schedule. When they were done they explained what they did and how to care for my new lawn. I am writing this review a year later and the lawn has been better than I imagined. My dogs are clean everytime they come inside the house and the lawn still looks great. I have recommended Alternascapes to my friends who have dogs or just don't want to deal with the hassle of caring for a lawn.

Rob Brooklyn (owner) came to my residence and took measurements. We discussed different types of turf and mutually decided on the best type for my yard. Once the appointment was made, his team showed up promptly and completed the work as expected. They cleaned up before they left. Rob then came back on two ocassions to follow up and see how the grass was doing.

Outstanding! Prompt, efficient, professional, expert knowledge of system, courteous, respectful. The system works perfectly now. No issues whatsoever. THANK YOU SO MUCH ! See you next year.

Prior to using Dynamic Turf, I had used a variety of lawn companies. All of which killed my lawn and caused me to have to replace it on 2 separate occasions. Currently, with using Dynamic Turf, my lawn is absolutely beautiful. I would recommend them to anyone.

Jeff and his team did a great job from start to finish. Jeff came out provided me with comprehensive plan and a very reasonable price. Then he and his team came out and did their magic. My wife and dogs could not have been more pleased. Unexpectedly we had our fence replaced and of course in the process some of the turf had to be cut, etc. I called Jeff and he told me he would work me into the schedule. I expected him to come out, assess the damage and provide a quote to fix. He came the next time he was in the area and fixed the damage at no cost. Very professional and would not hesitate to recommend TurfPro to family or friends. Great job and thank you!!!

Sprinklers were turned on for observation damage parts to be changed was marked with flags. Charges and cost was explained to me by Mr Green to include change of battery and resetting Of sprinkler clock schedule. I agreed for him to make the necessary changes at given cost. Replacement of parts was done and the changed parts was shown to me. I have used his service in the past and was quite pleased, and I will contact him when the need arrive. .
