Our septic system installed nearly 40 years ago. Sewage coming up in yard over tank so worried about system failure and tens of thousands to replace field. Jamie came to evaluate and give ideas and estimate. He was awesome, told us his thoughts, detailed exactly what he'd do, and gave us a cost. Other companies came, very vague on what they'd do, one wouldn't give an idea of what might cost. The day Jamie came, I watched him, he did exactly what he said he'd do. I looked into the hole before he backfilled... I feel confident we won't have an anothe issue as long as we live here. THANK YOU!

Punctual and extremely informative throughout the services performed. Inclimate weather did not stop the two men from working through the conditions. Minimal disruption to our landscape even though our tank was under the children’s swing set. Cleanup met our acceptance and I will definitely use Green Septic Clean again. A++

Joe was very professional and attentive to my needs. I’m not very knowledgeable about septic tanks but he informed me through the process and everything is fixed. I am referring him to a friend and anyone else I know that needs services! Thank you Green Septic Clean!

Driver messaged me 45 minutes ahead of time, as arranged. Arrived on time. Pulled an excavator into the back yard, dug down to find the tank lid, lifted it. Found the main line was clogged right at the baffle; he cleared that with a stick and the water gushed out into the tank. Pumped the 1,000 gallon tank for the flat $450, which included clearing the main line clog, put the lid back, replaced the dirt. Whole visit was about one hour and (assuming that was the only problem) saved me over $2100!

  • One Way Septic

We had our septic tank back up (Not a great experience), after calling several companies we got lucky to find one way septic. They came promptly, arrived on time, did a full inspection and found what the issue was, besides doing a great job at servicing the tank. They are honest people (which I really appreciate and find it very refreshing to know that there are still good people out there), they even suggested to get other estimates for the repairs. No one offered the level of service they had provided, so we call them again for the repairs. They did an amazing job! they are very careful to not damage anything, they left things better then when they came in. Are super nice, answer questions, explained everything, and did a great job! will definitely use them in the future and make sure that everyone needs any maintenance or repair calls them. Great work done the first time

Look no further! We just relocated from Chicago with no septic experience. Rubin took the time to inspect, clean, and importantly for us explain the operation and what to look for. Great personality and worked the entire time. In and out in an hour. Thank you!

Better than expected.....after 20 years without any septic tank maintenance, I was referred to Raysseptic.com for services. Trevor quoted me a price that included digging the tank but I decided to dig it myself for the exercise. After a whole lot more digging than I anticipated, I called and reported my digging adventure to Ray and delivered a picturesque description of my results.....Ray said the digging was included and they use a Deere 17G excavator to do the work in no time at all. Ray stated that everything I described from my digging sounded normal and that Steven would arrive in the morning for the work. The next day, Steven arrived on time, surveyed my work, unloaded his Deere 17G excavator for some fine tuning to my dig and proceeded to expertly operated the machine to lift up my tank cover. After 20 years, I did not know what to expect but happily for me, the opening revealed nothing but water, albeit, very dirty water. Steven hopped off his excavator and moved to the edge of the tank. Leaning over the tank with his hands on his knees, he took a closer look. After a few moments, he raised his head, looked at me and said, "You're ok, we don't need to pump your tank." Somewhat puzzled I asked "why". Steven stated that by pumping out the dirty water, I would be removing the valuable enzymes that were happily eating away at whatever has been sent to the tank and that "healthy" enzymes are important to a properly working septic system. Somewhat skeptical I asked Steven to probe the tank to see if we quickly run into a thicker substance. Steven lifted his shovel over the tank and like a hot knife through butter, down it went...all the way down without the hint of interference. After 20 years of zero maintenance, I was stunned but I was getting ready to be stunned again...... Thinking that a discount was in order since no pumping was needed, I politely asked, "Well, since there will be no pumping today, what is my price?" Steven replied, "no charge". I was not ready for that one, especially in this day and age. Steven mentioned since he did not have to dig it open, he would not charge me for anything, he went further and said he would use his excavator to cover my digging. Raysseptic blocked out at least two hours of hourly time, rolled a very large truck maybe 20 miles to my location, burned several gallons of diesel fuel and could have easily gone ahead with the pump job and invoiced me for the going rate for a 1000 gal. tank but choose not to. One thing I'll say about Raysseptic is these guys have integrity. This was the first time using the services of this company. I will forever more request additional services should they arise and I will highly recommend them to anyone in the need of septic tank services and gleefully share this story. Septic Tank Service FAQ

  1. What are the signs your septic tank is full?

Answer: There are several signs that indicate your septic tank could be full. These include standing water over your septic tank, a strong odor coming from your yard, gurgling water, slow drains, or a sewage backup. While many of these signs could also be indicative of a clogged system, they should all be checked out by a professional ASAP to avoid costly damages. In the absence of any of these signs, it’s recommended that septic tanks be emptied every 3 to 5 years on average.

  2. How often should a septic tank be serviced?

Answer: On average, septic tanks should be serviced every 3 to 5 years in the absence of any worrying signs that the tank is clogged or full. The size of your septic tank, the number of people living in your home, and your average water usage will all impact how often your septic tank needs to be serviced.

  3. What are the most common causes of septic tank failure?

Answer: The most common cause of septic tank failure is improper maintenance. Failing to pump a septic tank on the appropriate schedule will cause septic tank failure and likely result in a costly septic tank repair or replacement. On average, septic tanks should be pumped every 3 to 5 years, but the size of your tank, the number of people in your home, and your average water usage may shorten or extend this timeframe.

  4. How much does it cost to pump a septic tank?

Answer: The cost to pump a septic tank is $400 on average or about $0.30 per gallon. The size of your septic tank, as well as local labor costs, will impact the cost of pumping your septic tank. Most septic tanks are between 600 and 2,000 gallons in size, meaning the average cost range is between $180 to $600.

  5. How much does it cost to install a septic system?

Answer: The cost to install a septic tank system is between $3,060 and $9,810, on average. The size of the septic tank you choose, the land you’re installing it on, the type of system you choose, and local labor costs will all influence the total cost of installing a septic system. Anaerobic septic tanks (those that don’t need oxygen) typically cost between $3,000 and $8,000. Aerobic systems, which utilize oxygen to activate bacteria and are popular on smaller properties, usually cost between $10,000 and $20,000.

  6. How long does a septic system last?

Answer: When septic systems are well maintained, they can last up to 30 years or more. If a septic system isn’t properly maintained, such as when it isn’t pumped regularly, it may malfunction and require costly repairs or a premature replacement. In general, septic tank pumping is recommended every 3 to 5 years to ensure the septic system lasts as long as possible.
