"Company asked for an email with a list of work needed and a photo of the fixture to be installed. A quote was provided, accepted and an appointment was booked. Before the appointment, I contacted the provider regarding a new issue to get see how much it would be to add that work onto the already agreed upon work and suddenly the quote originally provided went up 32%. While I understand the price changing if the scope of work changes, not honoring the original quote is not how to win customers. This company has done work for me before and so I didn't hesitate to hire them again. However, it is unacceptable to not honor the quote provided and I doubt I will be able to hire them again in the future.
