"Aim to Amaze was not only quick to respond to my phone call (about 5 mins), but also was on the scene w/ in a few hours. Tree was being held up by a 3 ft retaining wall, so it was a bit precarious, but they removed it quickly with no damage to the neighbors garage which was under the tree at that point. Price seemed steep to me, but we need to get it done quickly.

"Our patio looks beautiful! Would we hire this company again? Yes, the job they did is beautiful, and professional…However, if we were on a time constraint we would have included a completion date on the contract with the option to back out if the date was not met. We were given the impression that the project was going to be started within weeks of signing the contract and just like everything else during the pandemic this job was not started for several months. We absolutely understand that things happen (particularly the last two years), but also believe that good communication and transparency are incredibly important and felt that was lacking after we signed the contract. Hopefully it was a learning experience for all. In terms of the actual construction and installation of the patio Eric and Nate the two in charge. They were amazing! I cannot say enough about these two guys! They were very communicative throughout the whole process making sure that what we wanted was what we got. Any time there was a question or issue they would come to us ask us our opinion, but also weigh in with their experience. At the end of the job, everything looked neat and tidy, and we were pleased with the end result!

"Meramec Hardscapes just put in a concrete slab for me. From start to finish they went out of their way to make sure I was happy. Their bid on the job was very reasonable, the contract delivery was prompt, and they were quick to start the project. Brian the site Forman was polite, personable, and offered his experience to perfect the placement and orientation of the slab to work best with the grading in my yard. Their team worked hard and fast to finish the job in just over a day. This was impressive considering the size and thickness of the slab. Their care to not damage my lawn has saved me hour of work. They made it easy for my neighbors as well. I had one comment to me about how considerate they were with the placement of their trucks and equipment. "Landesign did an absolutely fantastic job, and I highly recommend them. We wanted not only to increase our curb appeal with low maintenance landscaping, but also to fix our problems caused by water. Landesign did such a wonderful job that I've already been handing out the landscape designer's business cards to my neighbors and others who ask for them. We got bids from multiple companies, and Landesign stood out from my very first contact on the phone with Tammy. She was the only landscape designer who asked if I had a plot plan, which impressed me, and I don't impress easily. She continued to amaze me when she came out to discuss my needs. I mentioned that I wanted to replace our nearly 30-year-old disintegrating landscaping timbers with walls. Also, I wanted to add curvy beds and to get rid of as much grass in front as possible while still looking elegant. Tammy said she could already visualize the design in front and then explained her thoughts. I was amazed because her vision was exactly like what I was thinking. From the start, she and I were on the same wavelength, which made working with her so much fun. I'm an avid gardener and already had a veggie and pollinator garden, so gratefully Tammy was so supportive of me wanting to plant native plants as much as possible, among other things. (I found Landesign initially through the GrowNative website and then checked them out here on Angie's List.) We had a couple of different crews come out: one for the hardscaping and another for the landscaping. Bruce, Jeff, and their crew did such a fantastic job on the hardscaping. I've had several neighbors comment specifically on how lovely the craftmanship is of our walls and curved paved patio, besides the numerous comments on how fantastic the overall design is. Then, Jason and his landscaping crew did a great job too of finishing the dry creek bed, rain garden, and a few other things, besides the planting and mulching. The crews were great to work with and cleaned up at the end of each day. Also, either Tammy or much more often Joe, the project supervisor, came out most days to check on the progress and talk about what would be done next. They also answered any questions I had. I really appreciated all of this since my project was rather extensive, and I was doing a lot of transplanting. Since Landesign's bid price was in line with the others, it was Tammy who really sold the project. I couldn't have asked for a better landscape designer and feel very fortunate to have gotten her. My family and I couldn't be happier, and I've already asked her for a bid on some additional work. Note: the photo I uploaded is from when the crews were still working on the landscape. I didn't take any new photos after they finished.

"We wanted to turn an existing closet between our girls' bedrooms into a Jack and Jill bathroom. The existing walls were bumped out to make a comfortable bathroom space, 2 pocket doors were created for access from each bedroom, and a new closet was created in one bedroom to replace the one we lost (second bedroom has separate closet that was untouched.) With expert guidance from Las Aguilas, we landed on a perfect layout and design. They had some smart suggestions along the way (tile, lighting, etc ) to pull everything together beautifully. From start to finish, all facets of the project were tightly scheduled with no wait time between steps (plumbing, electric, carpentry, etc.) Communication was quick and easy, and responses were prompt. This is a terrific group of professionals, who have given us a much needed and absolutely beautiful new bathroom. I highly recommend!
