    Called Family Christian Doors in a panic since cars were trapped in our garage when garage door would not open. Steven was at our house within a few hours, diagnosed the problem, gave us a very reasonable estimate and completed the repair. He explained what he had done and made some suggestions for potential future repairs since parts of the system are quite old. He told us what signs of stress on the motor would look like so we can have it replaced if needed before it gives out. It is hard to find an honest garage door repair company and we are pleased to have found FCD

(Did NOT try to sell me a new door or charge me a minimum price for a "crashed door" plus parts and labor like previous estimate from another company) A straight Labor, Parts plus tax bill!     Very nice initial visit by the owner. Subsequent dealings were with his wife, Pauline. She also had monumental patience. Things that I liked 1) Best price. Just for reference, the next lowest price (Reliant) was about $25 more. The highest price was about $300 more. $2.75k for two insulated doors 16 and 8 2) Parts and choices are limited right now but they did their best to give me options. Be flexible. 3) Pauline let me meet with their supplier to see the actual color as the original color was not available. If you are picky about colors, take her up on the offer. The color in the photos looks different from the actual color. We did it to make sure our HOA wouldn’t reject it. 4) They offered both 24 & 25 gauge doors which was nice. Everybody else ( except Nation which suggested the better doors as well) suggested the cheaper/weaker option. Go with the stronger doors (the lower the gauge , the stronger the door). 24 gauge 8 foot doors were not available. The perimeter seals were actually more expensive than others. The total price was still the lowest. If you are handy, think of doing it yourself. Service was punctual and nice. Follow up service call was also exceptional

    Excellent response and work! I discovered that the springs on our garage door had broken and the door would not open. I called Plano Overhead Garage Door at 4:45pm and was told that a technician could be there quickly. At 5:30pm Juan arrived and professionally examined the door and recommended a number of options for repair or replacement (it's an old door). Juan had the springs replaced and working quieter in about an hour. Thanks Juan

    repair panel, greased the tracks and replaced the rollers. The door sounds great and very quiet now. Larry did a great job and completed the task in a timely manner. I submitted the request and Larry came out the next morning. I will still need to replace my door at some point and will certainly have Larry install the new door!!!

    Jesus Rios and his team surpassed our expectations, for sure! We were extremely pleased by punctuality, quality, price, professionalism, and communication. Jesus was the first contractor to respond, and they completed the work within 24 hours! Definitely, we would hire again and would recommend them to anyone needing replacement or repair of a garage door and/or the hardware for the door. My tenant was very pleased with their cordial and professional manner. They removed and replaced some heavy potted plants for her, in the garage, to make room for their work. The closeup photo shows a trim they placed to help deter dust. We didn't even know that was included! The almond color, of the aluminum door and their trim, matched our original trim paint well enough that we won't need to paint anything. Rios turned out to be a five-star find
