It did not. Handyman Connection Lied from beginning to end. The quote stated including materials, but they they asked us to buy the materials before they started the work. When questioned they said that me expecting the word including to mean including was semantics on my part and refused to acknowledge my complaint. Took weeks to get my money back and they kept a 5% cut for the materials that they purchased form my job which, in their mind, were not included and I needed to buy them

First of all, we were very dissatisfied because they rescheduled 4 times and actually "no showed" with the 4th appointment with no communication or contact information on a Saturday. Secondly, we depended on them to be the experts in recommending the type of wood needed to secure a banister handrail to the wood sleeve they made. The wood acted and looked like veneer and popped open on the corners when the railing was attached. they said we signed off on the type of wood used and were liable for the end result. It was a very poor recommendation on their part. On top of that, they cash our deposit check 4 weeks before any of the work was done.

Repair service was scheduled with confirmation email sent on same day. However, they never showed up at scheduled time. Later they indicated this service time was only a "placeholder" in their system and they would follow-up with a new confirmation (which was never sent for over a week before I gave up). Very poor communication and customer service skills.

I had not been keeping up with maintenance on our house and was getting ready to sell it. I didn't have the time or expertise to do the job right. Handyman Connection did everything we asked them to do, and in more than one case did more than we asked them to do for less than they estimated. They were trustworthy, authentic, understanding, and highly skilled. I would hire them again in a second!

The WORK itself was good. The SCHEDULING was a mess. This was a multi-part project. The door removal went fine. The shower floor painting was scheduled and the date came and went (no-show). I couldn't get a hold of the scheduler for a few days and then find out that the person who was supposed to do the painting was no longer with them, and they "couldn't find anyone who knew how to do this work". It took another couple of weeks and then the painting was done using a subcontractor (at their expense). We THEN had problems with the shower door being incorrect (not their fault), but after waiting several days for the replacement door, it then took another 3 weeks to get the handyman back to finish the installation. I give them credit for making good on their estimate by using the subcon for the painting, but the whole thing just took way too long and we were without our shower for a month.

Our window is an irregular shape, but over the years the frame had badly deteriorated. Bryce came out and gave us an estimate. He was prompt. Very friendly and very knowledgeable about solving the problem. He was prompt and very professional. Did a great job. It looks like a new window. We are very happy with the result.

Chris came out and looked over everything that we asked. He said that construction work was not necessary, the problem is just cosmetic. He did not feel that he could, in good conscience, do anything for us other than clean it up a bit. We really appreciated his honesty.

Kyle came out and gave me 3 different quotes depending on how much work I wanted on my aging deck. He was very thorough in researching wood selections, etc. I decided that for now I would just go with replacing the top rails. Marc came out and did the work. He was very efficient and professional and the quality of work was excellent. I would hire Handyman Connection again; in fact I will next spring to do more work!

Brian did a great job. He went above and beyond to get things done exactly as we wanted. He even made suggestions and did things to make it even nicer than expected. Every day when the person who is working on your project is on the way you get an email saying they are on the way. Brian was professional and showed up on time each day and did a great job. If we ever need any more projects done we will make sure to ask for Brian. We were very happy with the final results. $3,000

“Brian Bennett was the Handyman assigned to our list of projects this year. He was great. It's always tough to come into a 100-year-old home and get a long list of things to "fix." You never know what lurks beneath the surface! But Brian was tenacious and cheerful and got everything done. Of course there were a few trips to Menards! )We've used Handyman Connections for years and we've never been disappointed. In the past that's included tile, deck, ceiling repair, electrical, hardwood floors, and more -- they've done it all.)

I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau which they didn't resolve. They over cut boards, cut them uneven, put them up so they are not level, over hammered nails with nail gun ruining the boards and on the side they did they put up 9 boards when the other side only has 8. Also, ruined original boards when removed and replaced brick moulding which also had a bad mitre cut

In one word: TERRIBLE! Steve came out last July (2019) and provided a quote. We followed up with the required 40% down payment ($2,400). They started in August 2019. Soon the realized thy had bitten off more than they could chew. Instead of leaving alone what was good enough, they went on to peel the rear part of my deck, leaving the planks in my backyard. It was all downhill from there. We could not even step out onto the deck! I must have made a combination of 25 to 30 text messages and calls to Kyle with many promises but no follow up. This then extended into December when some plywood boards were thrown in place of the planks that were removed. My deck now looks PATHETIC!! To make matters worse, all the debris was left piled up in my backyard. When I reached Kyle again in February, it was deja vu - repeated texts, many promises and no clean up. Finally in May a somewhat customer focused guy (Bryce) showed up and cleared the debris. That's a good 10 months. And the end result? No frame replaced, improper faucet replacement, no gutter clean-up, a crappy looking deck and incomplete work. I would not recommend them at all and will NOT use them again!

It went fine. They replaced the faucets but after they were gone and they asked me to write a review on Google for them, which I did, I noticed some leaking. I wrote them several e-mails but they didn't respond for weeks. Finally, they came out and said the pipes were old and needed replacement. He said Kyle would contact me about a quote. Now it's about a month later and I still haven't heard from them again, even after I e-mailed them again. Business must be good but I don't think they'll get any more of mine. Too bad.

I am so very happy with my new bathroom and linen closet thanks to Tim and Colton from Handyman Connection! My bathroom had a leak that was not visible (had been leaking for some time). The floor and walls were heavily damaged. The work to be done was a complete remodel and repair of the bathroom and an update to the linen closet. The bathroom had to be gutted to put in a new floor and walls (there was mold in the walls). My contractor, Tim, always stressed my safety first. He remediated the mold and removed the terribly damaged walls and floor. He always made me comfortable that I wasn’t in danger of getting ill from the damage in the bathroom, making sure that the issues were handled immediately. During the remodel of the bathroom and linen closet, Tim and his apprentice Colton prepared the areas including laying down sheeting to make sure the floors in my house were not damaged or made dirty. I support the process of apprenticeship for companies to grow experience by hands on learning and am happy that Handyman Connection does this. Tim’s vast experience and his patience in explaining not only what had to be done and how to do it but also why it was being done make him a great teacher and Colton has an innate skill and learns quickly. When they finished for the day, they wrapped up everything and made sure the house was clean and in order. I had part of the garage ready for the replacement tub, vanity, shower/tub surround, etc. Tim always asked if he could keep items in the garage before leaving anything – I expected remodeling tools, equipment and product would be in the garage, but Tim always asked. Tim got it quickly that I liked more of a heads up when they were coming to work on my house, so even though I got the email that they were coming, Tim would text me to give me an hour notice that they were coming. And they were always at my house at the hour. The bathroom floor is now rock solid (before it was spongy, I didn’t realize how bad it was because I had lived with it so long). The tub and surrounds are much safer and attractive than the old tub and tiles. We collaborated on the new fixtures and in addition to replacing the tub, window, vanity, lighting, and other fixtures, I also got items that I hadn’t had before – a medicine cabinet and ceiling vent. The mirror was repainted to match the vanity. The walls were repaired and have clean lines, were painted, the popcorn ceiling is now smooth. The linen closet is so wonderful! It used to have unfinished particle board shelves that bowed in the middle. Tim created new shelving that has finished edges that look so upscale! The closet got a new floor, painted and a new access panel into the bathtub hardware. My bathroom is amazing! First and most importantly, Tim made it safe removing the mold and replacing the damaged floor and walls. Second, Tim and Colton made it functional. I don’t worry about the electricity or plumbing (no leaks now!). Third, Tim and Colton made it beautiful. It looks like it was pulled from a magazine it is so beautiful. Not only the repairs, installations, updating but beautiful finishing touches on the baseboards, window, and walls have elevated the beauty of my bathroom. Throughout the process, they were professional, respectful, always explaining where they were in the process and including me. It was great to see the progress every day. It takes more than just ability to get results this wonderful. It takes caring and commitment to your customer. I appreciate and value the experience that I received from Handyman Connection and am looking forward to the next project (remodeling living room, bedroom, front entry) which has already been estimated and soon to be scheduled! I highly recommend Handyman Connection.

Started the stair demolition with no permit from the city. After the stairs where torn apart to the point they where no longer unable, attempted 'batch and switch' by informing me the purposed stairs would not meet city code. Suggested a new rebuild at a cost increase of $1,400.00. I canceled Handyman Connection and hired a Garvin Homes to complete the demolition and rebuild for $1000.00 less.
