Drainage and erosion resulted in the need for extensive deveopment of retaining walls. Fantastic work in stabilizing the area and now making it both functional and beautiful. The guys were able to take my vision and make it even better. Attention to every detail.

Vitaliy and crew were great! Arbor Barber was one of the few companies to respond to my request and they were able to get me on their schedule in a reasonable amount of time and the price was fair! Love the finished work.

Honest, reliable, flexible, professional, highly skilled crew. They provided proof of insurance, and an estimate for the work. The final bill didn't have any surprises or extra charges. I can honestly say that these folks are at the top of the 5 star category. You can trust them.

Left and online message, describing the scope of the project, and got a call the next morning from Dave (I believe). He arranged to stop by later the same day, reviewed the scope, and gave me his estimate. Arranged for a date for the work, depending on how cold it was, contacted me the day before, and Dave and his crew could not have done a better job. Attentive, accurate, safe, and thorough. He even got a second job from my neighbor, who needed a tree taken down and away. Would not hesitate to use them again

They were efficient. Took down one tree, removed a tree trunk from our Burch tree. Trimmed three trees all much to our satisfaction, and cleaned up well afterwards.

Company was a referral from a friend and when I reached out he was responsive and able to fairly quickly get to my job. Price quoted was fair and they did a good job of cleaning up afterwards.

Zack Tabor was prompt and priced fairly for the project. Zack completed the work quickly yet safely. Zack and I reviewed the project needs and provided comments for me to consider as I knew which trees I wanted trimmed, but I wanted his advice for recommendations and he did all that well. We have another tree removal project and we’ll hire Tabor Tree Care for that task too. I was very pleased with his service

  • Central Minnesota Tree Service LLC

I highly recommend Central MN Tree Service. Their bid was competitive, their work is high-quality, they are knowledgeable, and professional. They went the extra mile, cleaning up other fallen branches and sticks in the yard that were already there, and fixed a chainlink fence that may have been broken before they took out a section to move equipment through

Tree Service FAQ

  1. How much does it cost to remove a tree?

Answer: Typically, tree removal costs between $200 and $2,000. Tree removal costs vary widely based on the number of trees being removed, the height of each tree, the diameter of each tree trunk, and accessibility to the tree. Smaller trees are usually less expensive to remove than larger ones, as are those that are more easily accessible.

  2. Do you need a permit to cut down a tree?

Answer: In many areas, you don’t need a permit to cut down a tree on your own private, residential property. But some municipalities may require tree removal permits for conservation purposes or to comply with local ordinances. When you hire a tree removal pro, they’ll be able to tell you whether you need a permit for your specific tree removal project.

  3. When is a good time to trim trees?

Answer: In most regions, the best time to trim your trees is during the winter months. During the active growing season (spring through fall), trimming your trees can leave them more vulnerable to disease and less likely to thrive. During the winter months, when trees are dormant, trimming them will cause less stress and leave them ready to grow again in the spring.

  4. What is the average cost to cut a tree down?

Answer: Tree removal costs between $200 and $2,000 per tree. Establishing an average cost can be difficult because each tree will be assessed and priced based on factors like height, trunk diameter, and accessibility. In general, smaller trees cost less to remove than larger trees, as do trees that are more accessible.

  5. How much does it cost to service a tree?

Answer: The cost to service a tree is typically between $430 and $1,320. The cost to service a tree depends on several factors, including what exactly you’d like done, the tree’s height, its health, the location of the tree, and local labor costs. The national average cost for tree services is $865. Tree trimming isn’t necessary for all trees but can improve their health and longevity by encouraging new growth.

  6. What is the difference between tree trimming and pruning?

Answer: While tree trimming and tree pruning might appear similar to the untrained eye, they serve different purposes. Tree pruning is used to thin a tree by removing unnecessary or burdensome branches. Tree trimming promotes healthy growth by trimming but not removing branches.
