    As you might imagine, when your dryer goes out and you have two young children, you have about a 3-day window to rectify the situation. After not getting responses from other folks that had good reviews, or being told by a company that claimed to "service all of Broward" with the exception of Hollywood, I got in touch with John at JA Appliances. John showed up later that day, when he said he would, gave me a straightforward assessment of the issue and the timelines involved depending on the part availability (which I was lucky to have available) and came back the next day to do the repair. Living in South Florida, I know it's a crap-shoot every time I hire a repair person, so it's good to know that I can call JA Appliances back for any number of issues that may arise with my other appliances or my A/C

    Fabio's honesty and integrity restored our faith that there are some honest appliance repair companies out there. It was a Sunday, and my daughter's refrigerator/freezer stopped cooling. She called a different company first. They sent out a subcontractor (of course charging a diagnostic fee) who said the compressor needed to be replaced and provided an estimate of $1600. We knew something was off with this, so my daughter called Fabio. Fabio answered the phone late on a Sunday afternoon and told her the compressor should be covered under warranty. (The frig was only 4 years old). He asked her to text him the model number of the frig. Once he got that info, he confirmed the compressor was covered under warranty and recommended she contact the store where she purchased the frig and that they should replace the compressor for the cost of the labor only. He was right! (She had asked the previous service tech from the other company if it was covered under warranty and he said No). Fabio could easily have been like the other company and offer to replace the compressor for the cost of the part and labor. Fabio did not do that AND he helped her out knowing he would not get the service call. We appreciate Fabio's honesty and ethics and will definitely contact him first, as well as recommend him to friends and relatives, when we need any appliance serviced. Thank you Fabio

    I had written off my fridge. Told my wife to go purchase a new one. 2700 dollars. Then I decided to get someone to look at ours. It was a holiday Sergio came next morning. 2 hours later it was working better than ever. 200 verses 2700. And a 10 day wait. Can’t say enough. Worth every penny !!

    Dan is the repair person we all wish for. One who knows his trade, therefore knows what he’s doing, and conducts business in a pleasant, professional and honest manner. He is courteous, patient (answers questions in an understandable way), reliable/prompt (shows up when he says he will and fixes the problem), easily reachable, and charges a fair price. I initially called him when my refrigerator was in decline – temperatures in freezer and fridge were steadily going up. Next morning he came and diagnosed the problem. After doing my “Cost Benefit Analysis” – replace vs repair – I decided to repair. I contacted him with my decision. He gave me the estimate and ordered the compressor immediately. A couple of days later he let me know he received the compressor. Next morning he did the replacement. WAAAA—LAAAA ----- I had a working refrigerator
