    Owing to a big increase in the number of patients with COVID-19 and the large number of people attending our Emergency Department, we are experiencing severe pressures. Please help us - before you come to ED please call 111 or visit 111 online if you need urgent care.

    Northern Devon Healthcare NHS Trust (NDHT) and the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust (RD&E) will merge on 1 April 2022 to become the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. Read more-

    The shared an update on our proposed integration with RD&E. We feel confident that as a single organisation, we'll be best placed to offer high quality and resilient services to the people of Devon now and in the future. We are hoping to integrate on 1 April 2022 🤞

    We have plans to tackle these challenges and support patients on a waiting list - the Nightingale is now offering a range of elective services, Dyball ward at RD&E has reopened as a surgical orthopaedic ward, and a modular theatre at NDDH is under construction
