Our washing machine broke on Tuesday and Otto's was able to send a repair man out the following morning. The appointment was for anytime between 1-4p and the repair man showed up early. He called ahead of time to find out if coming early was an inconvenience and of course it was not. He was professional, knowledgeable and was able to make the necessary repairs in about 20 minutes. I called for an apt and got a window of 10-1. Otto showed up promptly at 10, which was great because I didn't have to wait around all day. He was pretty honest about the machine costing more to repair with the bearing plus the labor. I was better off buying a new washer. Originally, I had called Sears because the washer is a Kenmore, but they couldn't come out till 7 days later! YIKES! I called Bay Appliance Tuesday morning and they were able to come out the next day. Awesome. I would use them again if any other appliance acts up.

This service was the absolute worst. In the period of six weeks five differen technicians came out and half of them did not order what they were supposed to order, the parts did not come when they were supposed to come. We talked to a representative from that company and they said they would send a check for around 50 dollars to cover laundry mat services and that never came. The whole process has been absolutely horribe. The final guy that came out to fix it, took less than ten minutes, so it was a waste of our time and their time. The guys were professional, but the quality was poor. The last guy that came out during the six weeks was fine.

"They were absolutely awesome. A broken refrigerator that needed fixing. Nate came during the specified time. He showed me the burned out part and showed me on internet how much it would cost to place the part. After giving me the total (including labor), we discussed repair versus buying a new refrigerator. "Keith checked for the easy fixes first -- blocked drain line, clogged pump, etc. Then he removed the pump. It was stripped, so the pump wasn't working. When I approved the replacement, he checked the belts and found one that was about to break. He also suggested he replace the rusted clamps while he was in there. His attention saved me two additional repairs and an unpleasant leak down the road. He also told me that the drain line looked in good shape and didn't need to be replaced. That would have been more expensive than the belts and clamps, but he didn't suggest replacing what didn't need it."
