A very nice gentleman comes out once a month to spray for pests. He always arrives promptly and sprays the lawn. The price they charge for their services is very reasonable. I have been happy with the service this company has provided. He is very professional.

Supervisor arrived next day after my request and set multiple traps and bait. Weekly followup to remove and reset. Gophers removed within 2 weeks.

He was willing to come back and follow up much more generously than anyone else. He didn't charge us for the follow ups either. He was very conscientious about it.

I had them come in because of a small rodent problem and they helped me go through the house, plug holes, and I have not had problems since then with rodents. They were responsive, nice, and very good. However I should note they never caught any rodents. They always informed me when they were about to come out. They would even call me before the arrival. The one thing they kept repeatedly doing although I cautioned them, was to open a door that would set off our alarm. This would cause the alarm company to go on alert. Overall though they are good. A tip - you can get a discount by paying a year in advance.

Called and made an appointment. They gave me a 2-hour window when they would arrive. They never showed up.

Dealing with the Honey Ladies was a breeze from start to finish. Yellow jackets had built a nest inside a hole (made by gophers) in my front lawn. A couple of weeks earlier, I had another company come and "treat" the nest with pesticides, without success. I reached Wendy (company owner) directly by phone. She was very efficient and kind in listening to me describe my situation and in scheduling a time to come. She came the very next morning! Also, on the phone she told me the price (which the other company I'd had come had refused to do) and she stuck with it. When she came to my property, she got suited up to protect herself from stings (in a bee suit). She vacuumed out the yellow jackets alive, to be released later in a distant location. Then she dug up the nest, removing it along with the bees inside. No pesticides, no mess. Just a hole that I later closed up, a couple of days afterwards. She was very careful in the way she removed the lawn around the nest hole, so that I was able to replace it easily on top after I filled the hole in. She followed up by email to check on how things were progressing (whether the bees were back), and answered some follow-up questions that I had. She had said she would return at no charge if the insects continued to create a problem, but it's been two weeks and the yellow jackets are gone! I would absolutely recommend The Honey Ladies to anyone with a bee or wasp problem.

MARK & HIS CREW WERE OUTSTANDING. THEY SHOWED US THINGS TO DO TO KEEP THE HOUSE SAFE FROM INSECTS. THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME & WERE DONE WHEN THEY SAID THEY SAID THEY WOULD BE. JOB WAS VERY WELL DONE.

The inspection consisted of an interior check, crawl space underneath my home, an out building and the lawn more specifically being shrubs and trees. At the completion of the inspection, I received a written report of the process and results. I will definitely do another inspection with the company in three to four years which is the business's recommendation. The inspector was very friendly. I truly value his time and effort into a complete, thorough inspection.

I pay $40 or $50 for every service. They are excellent. They are very good and their price is reasonable. There are a couple of companies together and they do lawn service and pest control. The quality of service is very good. They are very responsive, punctual and professional. I would continue to use them in the future.

I have used this company for years. They have done pest work on my home as well as my lawn. I have not had any problems with pest since they have started coming. I would recommend this company to others. They did also drive a company truck to my home.

OVER A NUMBER OF YEARS, WE HAVE FOUND THEIR SCHEDULED SERVICES TO BE CAREFULLY PERFORMED ON TIME AND EFFECTIVE IN CONTROLLING PESTS, THEY CALL IN ADVANCE AND SHOW UP ON TIME. THEY RESPOND QUICKLY TO EMERGENCY "OFF CYCLE" PEST CONTROL REQUESTS.

When I called Western Exterminators, they told me quite honestly that pocket gophers are hard to eliminate. Their standard service is to set poison bait in the gopher tunnels, wait a week, and then return to set bait again. They couldn't offer a guarantee. Nevertheless, I was having no luck on my own, so I agreed to the standard service. When I returned home from work on the day of the first visit, I saw several landscape flags in my lawn that indicated the places where they had inserted bait into the gopher tunnels. I also saw dirt flying through the grass as the gophers began to dig anew. Oh well, I thought: they said that this might not work. Maybe they'll eat the bait next time. The following week, Western Exterminators returned for round two. That was four weeks ago and guess what? No evidence of gophers! I appreciate that Western Exterminators was honest with me about the challenges of gopher infestation. Sure, I feel bad for the little buggers, but I don't miss raking piles of heavy clay soil out of my lawn and landscaping. I certainly recommend Western Exterminators to my friends, neighbors, and readers of Angie's List.

The girl in the office, Angie, is the best telephone answering person I have ever met. She was marvelous. She was exceptional. When she said she’d call back she would. If they said they’d come at a certain time they came at that time. They never seemed in a rush. They really took care of every problem for 10 years. It is for our second home and we trusted them to go in our home when we weren’t there. They were very honorable and trustworthy.

I have repeatedly asked the company to call live and give us an appox. time when the tech will arrive. Instead they give you a robo call, the night before, just give you a ten hour time span. You can call the company and they may return your call once after a dozen calls, if you are lucky. On Thursday the tech showed up and rang our bell and asked what he was to spray for. According to the salesman they are supposed to spray the entire outside of our property. I watched from each window of our house. The tech DID NOT spray anything above three feet. He did not spray the eves of the house, the lawn, the driveway, neither side of our house, our patio nor our patio cover. Then he started to pack up and I went outside and politely asked him to spray our lawn. He said he had. I told him I was watching him the entire time and he had not sprayed the lawn. Then he got very aggressive and started swearing at me, and said he didn't have to spray anything he didn't want too. I told him I was going to report him to his company. And he said go f...... ahead. They don't give a sh.t, and they won't do anything. And he was right I left them several voicemails five days ago, and the company still has not called me back. DO NOT USE Alterra Pest Control from Livermore. They do not know the meaning of customer service.

John is responsive to calls for estimates. He called back right away, and we set up a time for him to look at our situation. The reason this month long trapping is pricey, is that it involves multiple visits per week to check the traps, and the initial set up takes some time. He is very careful to keep the traps out of a child's reach, and from interfering with neighbor's yards. Where applicable, he protects birds from getting caught in the traps by putting mesh over the trap. His company offers a variety of yard and critter services. I recommend Gingrich Horticulture Service, and I will use them for bait station maintenance, and will try some of their other lawn and critter services.

They brush down the fences and any structures in the house, brush down any cobwebs or any pests that we have a problem with, like wasps or anything like that. They don?t come inside - they will if I want them to but I don?t have them stay indoors. They spray the perimeter of the house, around the foundation of the house and the yard for pests. I would recommend them. We have been with them since the company just started I think, about 3 or 4 years. They are very reliable. We never have to call them, but if I do have a problem they will come right out. They always call me a day ahead because we have a dog and they let us know when they are coming, so I don?t let him out in the yard when the spray is on the lawn. We had a different service before that we didn?t like as well. I think their price is around $70 quarterly. We have an ongoing agreement with them.

I contracted with TAPS Termite for repairs and fumigation on my house, and they subcontract fumigation to CostLe$$ Fumigation. While I was happy with TAPS, I was not happy with several items with CostLe$$. First is that they require two contracts: one for TAPS, and another for CostLe$$. Not only is it annoying to have to deal with two contracts, but the contract for Cost Le$$ includes language that says if anything is broken or missing or damaged, they're not responsible--I didn't like that at all. They dug dirt out of the garden to put around the edges of the tarp, and didn't do a very good job of putting it back. I failed to completely remove everything from my freezer (missed a couple items in the door, clearly my error), and they proceeded to leave this frozen food on the front lawn, despite the fact that the garbage cans were visible and available. They chipped our laminate floor. And a couple of days after the fumigation, a wind blew the chimney cap off my roof damaging 3 roof tiles. That cap had survived many windstorms before, so I can only believe it was loosened when CostLe$$ pulled off their tarps. I have no issues with the effectiveness of the fumigation--the bugs are dead--but all in all this seemed to be a sloppy job, and I would NOT recommend CostLe$$ Fumigation.

Lack of minimal professional competence, lack of communication, dishonesty, and failure to complete the work that we paid for. UPDATE: The service manager sent a note of apology and. unsolicited, sent a refund check.
