  • Kitchen Saver Inc DBA Savers Kitchen & Bath
    5.0
Savers Kitchen and Bath recently assisted us in updating our kitchen with new countertops, backsplash, sink, and faucet. In addition, they removed a planning desk and installed a counter height cabinet with drawers and a beverage refrigerator. Since we didn’t replace the cabinets, they did an excellent job matching the stain of the new cabinet with the existing ones. Aaron, our design consultant, was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and most of all, patient during our selections. He offered advice, pros and cons, and helped us to feel confident in our decisions. All the professionals who worked in our home did an excellent job, and we especially want to mention Ryan. He was with us through the whole remodel, working carefully and skillfully. His attention to detail was much appreciated, and when design decisions with the tile needed to be made, he offered options and his opinion for the best outcome. Ryan did an excellent job of containing the mess, protecting our carpets and hardwood floors, and his thorough clean up at the end of each day was so appreciated. He was such a pleasant young man to have in our home each day! We would highly recommend Savers Kitchen and Bath

  • Reality Construction LLC

Total bathroom rehab to update 50's main bathroom of my son's home. Job well done. Mike was well organized and communicated well along the way. My son liked that Gina had a computer program that gave an idea of what the end product will look like. He also liked that they take you "shopping" for material that's within your budget. We liked that they used a title company to hold and pay out funds throughout the duration of the project

  • Dr. Plumber

Steve was prompt to look into our issue of Water leaking from Water Heater and resulting in no hot water in shower etc.. He showed up in short time (45 minutes) and replace Water heater in less than 2 hours. Kitchen sink faucet was replaced in prompt manner. He also checked my troubling shower faucets and controller for any issue. Before starting any work Steve and his partner ( I believe his son) did lay down carpets to avoid any dirt or scratch on my wooden floor. Thank you Steve for removing shoes and wearing mask when you enter in my house. I will recommend him for professional, clean and prompt work

  • Kitchen Krafters LLC
    5.0
We have used Kitchen Krafters for two major renovation projects in 2019 and 2021. We purchased a fixer-upper home needing a lot of work. Roger had a lot of ideas and was very responsive to our needs. He was able to turn a tiny, inoperable kitchen into an amazing open concept space that is the now the center of our home. He helped us to redesign our master bedroom and bathroom, which involved moving walls/plumbing and building a new closet, to make the space more efficient and conducive to our needs. He is very trustworthy and responsive, especially if you need him to resolve any issues

Going forward, I would contact Jim for other job

  • Milestone Plumbing Inc
    5.0
Milestone was fabulous from the very beginning! I emailed for information and they allowed me to email photos of what I needed done in order to give an estimate via email. This saved a lot of time to be able to do it this way. They quickly made an appointment and the plumber was right on time. The main thing we needed done was to replace the utility sink and faucet due to a leaking faucet. The plumber, Adam, was amazing and actually went above and beyond (with our permission first of course) to rework my basement laundry area to make it so much more efficient and useable. My washer and dryer used to be across the room from each other and he took the time to reroute some pipes and get my dryer next to the washer with the doors facing the right way! He also made it so the washer empties right into the plumbing system instead of into the utility sink which is also super convenient and less messy. I was astonished when I got home on how good it looked compared to before. Thanks for the amazing service and for thinking outside of the box to improve my basement. I totally recommend Milestone above any other plumber we have used in the past

  • MCM Plumbing and Drain Cleaning
    5.0
I've used MCMs services twice now for my triplex and it's been a great experience both times. They are responsive to calls and texts, are reasonably priced and very knowledgeable. They always show up when expected and do a quality job. The last time I contacted them they were even able to show up the next day! I will definitely rely on them in the future and recommend them to others

Plumbing FAQ

  1. How much does a plumber cost?

Answer: The cost of a plumber ranges from $175 to $480, with a national average of $330. However, the price will vary depending on job complexity, timing, location, supplies and materials, permits, and level of expertise. These costs typically include toilet repairs, faucet installations, and leaky pipes. In addition to the service call, you may also need to budget for haul-away and trip fees often required during more complicated jobs. Ask your local plumbing contractor about these fees before hiring them.

  2. How much does a plumber charge to replace a toilet?

Answer: On average, you can expect to pay your local plumbing contractor between $125 and $230 to replace an old toilet, with most residential homeowners paying around $150 to $180 for professional installation. You’ll need to consider materials and labor when calculating a final price. Not all toilets are equal. Depending on the brand you choose and the features you want, a new toilet might run you anywhere from $100 to $1,300. Add in the price of labor and installation, and your total project can jump up to $200 and $1,500.

  3. How much does a plumber cost to fix a toilet?

Answer: According to our service providers, it costs roughly $75 to $200 on average to have your toilet repaired. However, this price will vary depending on the complexity of the job and the materials needed for the fix. Repairs can be messy and less-than-pleasant to address, but having a functioning toilet is most definitely necessary. If you’re experiencing problems with your toilet, contact a local, reputable plumbing contractor right away, as avoiding repairs can lead to bigger—and more expensive—issues over time.

  4. Is liquid plumber safe for septic systems?

Answer: Good news! Liquid-Plumr® is safe for septic systems. Most drain cleaners disrupt the pH in your septic tank, which prevents the good bacteria from breaking down septic waste. The chemical make-up in Liquid-Plumr® works with the bacteria to break down waste quickly without harming your septic system. Still, it’s best to confirm with your local plumbing provider if Liquid-Plumr® is the right solution for your system.

  5. How much is it for a plumber to unclog a toilet?

Answer: Even the most well-maintained toilets experience clogs. It’ll cost you an average of $200 to $700 to unclog your toilet. Severe clogs will require a more comprehensive repair method, so check with your local plumbing contractor to determine the best approach for unclogging your toilet.

  6. Is Liquid-Plumr®, or any other liquid drain cleaner, safe for septic systems?

Answer: Yes and no. Liquid-Plumr® and other drain cleaners are most effective when used sparingly (one to three times a year). Repeated use of liquid plumber on drains could deteriorate your pipes and cause more damage. If your pipes clog frequently, put down the liquid plumber and call your local plumbing contractor immediately.
