Prior to starting our major home renovation, my husband and I met with several contractors including Avi Ben Dov from Finesse Remodeling. We were very impressed with Avi's ideas for our renovation and his obvious enthusiasm for his work. Avi did not disappoint. We began our renovations with Finesse Remodeling in September 2013 and were extremely pleased with the results. The home we had purchased was originally built in the 1920s and needed updates to the kitchen and bathrooms. Avi and his team did a complete gut renovation of two bathrooms and a kitchen, as well as completing other smaller projects such as interior painting, patio trellis work, and installing flooring in a converted garage. Avi's team was very professional, diligent, and hard working. They did very high quality work and were very reliable throughout the renovation process. Avi was also a pleasure to work with. He made himself available to meet in person or by the phone to answer any questions or to address any issues that arose. Avi clearly takes pride in his workmanship and values his client relationships. He is very personable and truly cares about his clients. We would definitely work with Finesse Remodeling again on future renovation projects.

CMRS Construction
We had CMRS Construction remodel our garage and put new floor in the bedroom. Service was fine not the best. The garage area we had a studio/office added. Bedroom had new tile floor put down and ceiling fan installed. At first work was going ok, when the job was getting close to finishing it was harder to get them to show up and finish the work.

Exactly as described. Work was done on time and on budget. Tony is very friendly and easy to deal with. He's even sort of fun just to have around. His men are all excellent workers. Everybody speaks perfect English, is polite, friendly, prepared, attentive to details, careful with their working habits, and they all seem to work very well together as a team. My project involved converting a pool house into a home office. I have other projects (kitchen remodel, garage rebuild, outdoor deck, etc.) that I may have TME do as well. BRILLIANT CONSTRUCTION
We used Brilliant Construction for a fairly extensive remodel of my 50-year old house. I interviewed a number of contractors, but chose Graeme's company because a) I liked his work, b) I liked his references and c) I liked his manner. We agreed to a time and materials contract and I have never once regretted it. (I do wish, however, that we had followed his advice and moved out of the house during the remodel!)?In addition to honesty and a good work ethic, Graeme brings a perfectionist's eye and a pragmatist's sensibilities. We valued his advice on when it was important to spend money to get a good result and when we could save without sacrificing quality. He listened to our ideas, made suggestions ? sometimes told us we were crazy ? but ultimately did what we asked him to do. While never afraid to try something new (a retaining wall made from recycled driveway concrete, a fountain made from scratch), Graeme also knows when to make use of sub-contractors. These men were always professional, friendly and trustworthy and their work was superb. Graeme has stood by his work and continues to check in with us from time to time. There are other projects that I want to do with this house and I will call Brilliant Construction to get it done right.

Recent Review: I was fortunate to find Green Works Construction & Design with a simple Google search. Their fantastic contractor, David Stein, met with me and we covered every aspect of the project. He was very honest and upfront about time-frame, cost, and the requirements of the job, including potential pitfalls given the age of my property. I shopped around a bit and settled on David and Green Works. The end result was far beyond what I'd hoped. The project was to convert my garage at my Studio City home (original structure built in 1926) into a legal, modern ADU (accessory dwelling unit). My intention was to create a studio apartment with a full kitchen, bathroom, and living space that could be rented out. I already had the plans ready to go, but David made some suggestions that vastly improved the original concept. Once the work started I was continuously amazed by the speed and professionalism demonstrated by the work crews led by their incredible foreman Jose Elias, who, like David, always made himself available to me and walked me through every step of the process. My concerns were his concerns. Because of the age of the building, the City inspectors called for some work that hadn't been planned or budgeted for, and they got the work done at the lowest cost possible to me. I consider myself lucky to have worked with David and Jose and highly recommend them to anyone considering any sort of construction or upgrade.
