Joe showed up on time discovered leak and repaired it quikly. fixed back door and got the lock to work makes me feel save now that door locks.

Sureshine came in and spent several hours fixing it, that was eight months ago and the repair is holding strong and looks great. Because the original installation was so bad, there was no way for them to say with certainty that it wouldn't happen again, but for what I paid for the repair and how long its lasted so far, with no sign of it quitting anytime soon, I think I got what I paid for or better and I would definitely give them a call in the future.

Did a great job on our Granite countertops. We had some degraded areas that were chipping from the acid in my wife's contact lens solution. He gave me an estimate on the phone and then came out to check it out. Fixed the counter, resealed it and stuck with the estimate on the phone. We was able to match the color perfectly.

Joe Kincaid is a great contractor. I first met Joe back in Fall of 2014 when I was looking at contractors to do a remodel of a home that I had just purchased. The home was built in 1959 and many parts of it were original. I wanted to upgrade the electrical box and grounding as well as replace a few of the lights. There were a some other items I was pricing out with him, such as a small roof repair and a small bathroom remodel. It was on a Sunday morning, when Joe called me around 8:00 AM that my simple remodel changed completely. We were about a week into the project. Fortunately, Joe stopped by the house that morning early to check up on the work progress. When he arrived, he found that my cold water line had burst under the house overnight. The entire house was under several inches of water. Joe was instrumental in helping me get the repairs started by first contacting a flood/mold remediation company to dry out the house. In the end, I had to do a complete home remodel. Every room was affected. Including what we were originally planning on renovating, Joe replaced the flooring (tile and wood laminate), baseboards, drywall, painting, electrical plugs, breaker box, roofing repairs, new shower tiling in the master and new shower/tub in the 2nd bathroom, new vanities in both bathrooms, new cabinets and counters in the kitchen and much more. Joe got the work done on time and on budget. If I could change anything, I would have used Joe for the copper re-pipe I had to do inside the house after the flood. Even then, Joe noticed and helped take care of issues that the plumber left unfinished. Joe became my eyes and ears during the project. His communication was great! Earlier this year, I had another water line problem at the house. This time the water main line was leaking underground between the street and my house. My first call was to Joe. He stopped by that day and called me with his recommendations. We decided to replace an area of the copper pipe that was leaking. Hopefully this will be the solution as the rest of the pipe looked OK. It was certainly a lot less expensive than replacing the whole line. Joe was thorough and did a great job both times I have used him. I like how he is willing to give options to meet my budget and best of all, I trust what he says.

My contractor, Creative Home Remodeling Group, sub contracted H2O to do the plumbing installation in my kitchen and bathroom remodeling. The kitchen was done almost a year ago. When I had a problem with the kitchen drain line I called Creative and they had me get in touch with H20. H2O came in and fixed the problem, no charge. ---- Creative did my kitchen and both bathrooms between last year about this time and May of this year. It was a long haul but I had some difficult design elements. All three rooms are beautiful.

(Written about 3.5 months after job completion) I must admit that we were highly cautious with our next bathroom remodel hire. Reason being was a previous contractor abandoned our master bathroom remodel after attempts to have them address valid concerns. That other contractor's license was eventually suspended after multiple consumer complaints were filed. Thankfully, working with Horizon Construction and Remodeling Inc on addressing a previous contractor's mess ups and then completing a redo of another bathroom in our home was a much better experience. The new remodel job that was Horizon's from start to finish was completed in a timely manner. With our older house, there were issues uncovered after the demo process that were not too much of a surprise. The issue extended our timeline and did add somewhat minor costs to the job. When questions or concerns were raised, Mike Roppo, our project leader, was responsive to address issues and provide explanations before the job moved forward. I could not give Horizon straight A ratings because of some of the worksite conditions at the end of a couple jobs. For example, white residue was left on our hedges and some of our walkway from workers mixing materials - possibly grout. Also, workers left cigarette butts in our newly installed small rocks landscaping that couldn't just get swept out easily. Workers did clean up nicely for all interior jobs. Finally, after completion of both bathrooms, two more events occurred. First, Horizon came out and made repairs that surfaced, like settling cracks in the grout for example. This was part of their contract, but it was done in a timely fashion. Second, Horizon was helpful with our complaint to the contractor license board by providing a statement of the condition of the bathroom remodel that was abandoned. Overall, we would include Horizon on our list of contractors to work with again.

Ted McFadden of Sureshine did an excellent job on my countertop. I chipped the edge of the countertop and was certain it was not fixable. Ted completed the work Saturday. He arrived on time, brought the proper equipment, fixed the chip and repaired the grout behind the countertop. He also found a small crack in the corner of the granite and repaired that as well. The job was not inexpensive, however I paid a very high price for the countertop and it needed a real craftsman for the job. I would hire this company again for any stone or granite work. We had a growing crack on the granite on our kitchen counter. Cameron came out and explained what the problem was and what needed to be done in order to fix it. The crew that came out was great. They were able to remove the rusting metal rod beneath the granite that was causing the crack and then repaired the crack itself. They really cared about the details and were very accommodating. They even identified another adjacent crack that we hadn't even seen and didn't charge any extra. The job was done ahead of time and below budget. We highly recommend them and will use them again.

I called David to look at some cracks in our granite to see if it could be fixed and also was curious how much replacing the counters with cesarstone would be. David spent about 45 minutes at the house and indicated that due to the fact my crack had been fixed once and was growing on both sides of the sink it really wouldn't make sense to repair and I agreed. I would definately use David's team again as demo and reinstall of the new counters only took about 5 hours and the kitchen looks great.

Joe uses very good judgement in all my repairs. He quickly responded to this service call placed by the tenant. He assessed the age of the water heater and advised it was past it's useful life and recommended replacing. He does service calls on all my rentals from minor repairs to complete remodeling. His judgement is good on what needs fixing or replacing. His rates are very fair plus his quick turn around of the homes gets vacant rentals back on the market quickly. He always treats my calls as important whether they are a small repair like a garbage disposal gone bad or a roof that's leaking and that needs replacing. He is my go-to guy for all service calls.

In the last 9 years we did many jobs with metro builders and remodeling. We own a multiply apartments buildings and Metro builder?s always available for immediate start. This job we have a bath room that the ceiling is collapsed from broken water pipe above. The guys came over at 10 PM to shot off the water, fix the pipe and show up at 7 AM to clean up the mass and start remodel the bathroom. Everything was done in 6 days: new tile, electrical, window, paint. Perfect we are very happy and the tenant happy. Thank you again.

Frankie and his team are the best! They just finished a complete kitchen & laundry room remodel for me, and they did an absolutely amazing job! The transformation is unbelievable! My new kitchen looks like something in a magazine now! When I'm ready to remodel my bathrooms, I will be using them again! In fact, Frankie is my contractor for life now! I won't use anyone else! I trust him and his team completely with my home! They also did all of the flooring in my house back in July 2016, and I couldn't be more please with the results! The entire process went extremely well. Shopping to select the tile, cabinets, countertops, etc. went without a hitch. Unfortunately for me, mold was found behind my old sink area, and that was repaired and fixed with no problem. Pini and his team all work well together. Everything is professional and up front. I never felt rushed or pressured throughout the entire remodeling process. I thought that the entire experience was actually enjoyable!!!!

I own several apartments and I asked Jose, the owner of Affordable Handyman, to remodel one of my apartments that was recently vacated. I evicted the tenants so they left it a mess and it really needed a lot of work. The first thing he helped me with was meeting the Sheriff when they evicted the tenants and changing the locks on all the doors and securing the place. Since the apartment is old, I decided to go ahead and change windows, doors, and change floors. There were minor electrical issues because the tenant did some funky wiring to hook up illegal circuits in the garage so I asked Jose to fix the electrical wiring and plumbing problems. He is very flexible and since I wanted to save money, I did the easy painting of the walls and doors myself after he did the harder things that I do not know how to do. He changed locks, installed new floors, painted ceilings, fixed plumbing, fixed electrical and connected new fixtures, installed new doors, and new windows. I liked the way he finished the windows using some special retrofit windows that do not require removing the old ones. His worker that does drywall/plaster is really good, I have tried to do that type of work myself in the past but it definitely takes skill to do it right and he knows how to do it so I would rather pay him to do that. If you want an honest handyman/contractor he is a good one. He will not over charge you for parts because he will literally give you receipts so you know exactly how much he paid in parts and then you know wha the real cost of labor is. I have used him for other smaller jobs too and he is reliable and fast so I keep his number on my favorites list so I can call him when one of my tenants has a plumbing emergency because I can count on him. I have used his services for small and big jobs and he has a good crew that does quality work so I even hired him to do a mayor remodel in my house a few years ago and he did a great job too.

The entire job went very smoothly from start to finish; Darren was wonderful about keeping us updated on what to expect, issues, what they would be working on and when. After the work was completed and the contractor had been fully paid, there was a problem with the shower temperature, so we called, and Darren came out immediately and fixed it. I am very impressed with the quality of work performed and the integrity of this company.
