Recent Review: My husband and I went through Angie’s List to obtain a list of contractors for our kitchen remodel. At the time, we were still debating between a 100% gut job or a more minor remodel so we interviewed 3 possible candidates. Adam and his brother, Jonathan from A+1 Design and Remodeling came to our home and listened to our design wishes. What immediately impressed us was how Adam took my design ideas (which I obtained from watching many DIY shows) and improving the design for a better layout, adding storage space, and an island. Before selecting A+ Design and Remodeling firm, we discussed timelines, projected remodeling costs, as well as our mutual expectations his company would provide both during and after the remodel. We were surprised at the 3 month projected timeline which Adam assured us was the realistic average even if DIY shows showed 3 weeks! Demolition began in September which was bad timing on our part due to the many upcoming year-end holidays. There were some delays, although most of the work was accomplished in a timely manner. Every workman who showed up was highly professional at his job, they took extreme care to minimize the noise level and dust debris since I was working from home at the time. The workman communicated with us when they were returning if the job took more than 1 day to complete. They always cleaned up after themselves at the days end. Adam or Jonathan maintained contact with us when delays were experienced and kept us informed on the next stage of the work to be done. The project eventually took 4 ½ months to complete from start to finish. Adam’s vision of the entire kitchen project far exceeded our expectations due to the materials used, workmanship, and overall design. We are extremely pleased with the end result and have already referred A+1 Design to several people we know. Our own and friends reaction to the final result is the same, WOW!

Recent Review: We contacted Green Planet Remodeling on a Thursday during the second week of December 2019 regarding an urgent kitchen remodel. Green Planet responded immediately and came to our house days later on Sunday night as requested (unlike the other big-name contractors we contacted). We spoke for roughly one hour and within 3 days (and at no cost) Green Plant presented us with a preliminary kitchen redesign. One week later, we signed a contract to hire Green Planet for the remodel. Three weeks later (3rd week of January 2020), Green Planet began our kitchen remodel, as they had already pulled permits for the job. This kitchen remodel is a part of a larger home remodel. One of the key reasons we selected Green Planet was that they offered a plan in which they would perform the remodel in two steps: Step 1: Kitchen remodel (8-10 weeks) and Step 2: Room Addition and Roof Replacement (4 months). To us, this meant that we would be without a kitchen for only 10 weeks versus 6 months. The other contractors who provided bids for this job quoted 6 months for the total job, all in one step. Green Planet completed the remodel, as promised in the contract, within 8 to 10 weeks. Green Planet's standard contract features a progress payment plan based on completion milestones (13 in our case), which protects the homeowner and compels the contractor to continually make progress. During the process, Green Planet continually presented us with options and design advice for paint colors, counter-tops, back-splashes, paint combinations, appliances, flooring, cabinetry, pulls, and lighting. Along the way, Green Planet discovered (and repaired) existing dangerous structural issues that resulted from previous remodeling work that was clearly not done properly -- remodeling performed before we purchased the house, of which we were unaware. Overall, the remodel came out great - exactly what we wanted - and we are confident in the integrity and quality of the work performed.

Not only are the project managers punctual and knowledgeable, their office staff are diligent and handle any problem to the best of their ability. Recent Review: We used Fine builders in the past for a small remodeling work at one of our investment houses and we were happy with the work they did for us. This time, we hired them to do a major remodeling of our kitchen and some work on our dining room and laundry room. We were very happy with the design that was done for us by Nir and with the remodeling process that helped us getting what we wanted in all the remodeling spaces. The remodeling started on time and was completed on time as well, with no delays that could cause because of missing working days, missing materials etc. The working crew was polite, kept us fully involved during all the remodeling stages and all of them were available for us to all our questions and comments that raised during the work. The work went smoothly while Nir was on top of everything including the management of the crew. The crew did also a great care by making sure that the remodeling spaces will be clean while minimizing the inconvenience we had as we kept living in the house. The final remodeling came out excellent, functional and exactly what we expected to get. Our work involvement with Fine builders was a great experience and we have no problem in recommending them to other people who is interesting in similar work as ours.

Recent Review: From my experience Better together Builders is highly recommended contractor. They did my kitchen and it was a full remodel. Ziggy, project manager, was very helpful, with his great suggestions he save me some money and I bought a high quality materials at very competitive price. His team worked hard every day to finish this project on time, which they did. The outcome is excellent and my new kitchen looks amazing and also is very functional. I highly recommend this company!

Recent Review: I was very happy with the work. The bathroom remodel which featured a "wet room" was done first and took approximately five weeks; the kitchen and new flooring was approximately two years later. The entire kitchen/flooring project took just over five months; I (and two cats) stayed in the house the entire time which was a big challenge. The contractor had people on the job site every day, which was very encouraging as I was very anxious to have the work done as quickly as possible. As I was told when I was referred to him by a neighbor, "He is not the least expensive, nor the most expensive, but he will do exactly what he tells you he is going to do." I found that to be the case.

Recent Review: We are working with Guy to convert our garage into an ADU/pool house and it is going great. I'm always impressed by the quality of work that Guy and his team at Supreme demonstrate -- and very pleased that they are able to live up to the timeline that he commits to. They are able to work well and quickly, and at a fair price. This is a big project for us, but Guy has walked us through each step so we know what we need to do. This is the second time we have worked with Guy and he has delivered well on both projects he has worked on with us. If you're looking for someone to take care of a remodeling job for you, I would strongly recommend Guy.

Recent Review: We used Mike and MF Construction a couple of years ago to remodel our kitchen. Everything went smoothly then, and we still love our kitchen, so when it came time to convert our garage into an office we called Mike. We are just as happy this time. Mike listened to our plans and made suggestions. He asked good questions to make sure we were going to get what we wanted. The main workers on our job, Luis and Jose, were great. They are very experienced and were easy to talk to and ask questions. Mike would come by just about every day, and and check on the progress, and fill us in on what to expect.

Recent Review: After talking to several contractors, we reached out to Horizon Construction for a bid. Mark came out to our house to discuss our project. After talking a while, Mark gave suggestions for changes to the blue prints. It took 7 months with our previous contractor/architect to get the changes made, but they were unquestionably worth the wait. Once we had approval from the city Mark worked us into their busy schedule right away. Mark and his crew worked every day to get our project finished in the timeline they gave us. Like most projects there were setbacks, budget changes, and other bumps in the road. However, Mark and his team worked really hard. They did a great job scheduling inspections to keep the job moving. All of the budget changes were because of things we wanted or added not because of his incorrect bid. When issues arose, his office staff was great at contacting us, communicating via phone and email, and answered questions quickly. Mark and Enna were a joy to work with, they were punctual, professional, offered good ideas, and allowed us to do some of the work ourselves. Mark is very particular in the way he expects the work to look, he treats his projects likes it is his own place. Mark and Enna always worked diligently to be sure we were happy with the products and services they provided. Despite skepticism from friends and neighbors, Mark was done a few days early. We would definitely recommend Horizon Construction to any of our family and friends.

Recent Review: I used Kirkland for an extensive renovation of my mid century modern home. We redid all the bathrooms, kitchen, flooring a garage conversion and paint. I was very pleased with the communication between our project manager and all the vendors and professionals involved in the process. I was set in this very specific type of Calacatta marble and they went above and behind finding it for me at the best possible price. My interior designer was also very impressed with them and even started using their kitchen Carpenter for her own projects because he was so awesome!; I was pleased at how they helped me preserve the architecture of the home and my design intent. I have gotten so many complements on the remodel and I feel so bad for not getting around to writing this review earlier. I definitely recommend Kirkland and would use them again in a heartbeat! (which I probably would since now I'm planning on working on the exterior of my home) :).
