"We had an amazing experience with Jon's Window's and Awnings from start to finish, and I am not one to arbitrarily throw around praise. <br /> It began with the slow and tedious process of calling around and gathering quotes based on my own measurements. &nbsp;I experienced the whole range of responses from none at all to verbal estimates to needing come out and measure for themselves. &nbsp;I understand the need to measure and see for themselves, but I just wanted to get an idea of the rates. &nbsp;Jon was the only vendor to send me a detailed, fully itemized bid that broke down each window, cost, and labor. &nbsp;His bid was not the least expensive, however it was competitive, and he did honor his Angie's List discount. &nbsp;Jon, himself, came out to check out the place and take final measurements. &nbsp;This was done without asking for a deposit, unlike some other dealers. &nbsp;Based on the responsiveness, professionalism, and friendliness of Jon and Connie, &nbsp;we decided to go with them. &nbsp;Connie was wonderful to talk to and kept me updated on everything. &nbsp; <br /> The windows arrived 3 weeks ahead of schedule, and we were able to schedule an install date 1 week later. &nbsp;The Antonio and his install team arrived on time and got to work right away and made sure all our needs were met. &nbsp;We asked to have our kids rooms done first so there would be no issues with them sleeping at night. &nbsp;By noon, they had both kids rooms completely done, 2 more windows and 1 patio door up. &nbsp;By the end of the afternoon, they had all the window replaced and just needed to touch up the next day. &nbsp;Our place is a bit older, and there were quite a few issue that needed dealing with, like uneven walls and window openings, but they made everything look perfect. &nbsp;The 2nd day was spent &nbsp;touching everything up. &nbsp;There was some extensive wood work that was needed to get the patio doors fitted, but they put in some molding and made it look flawless. <br /> Antonio was thorough in going over the final balance with my wife and explained the warranty with her. &nbsp;The project actually came in under budget! &nbsp;When does that ever happen?! &nbsp;We are thrilled with our new windows and our experience with Jon and his team. &nbsp;I would highly recommend them to anyone considering window replacement! <br /> <br />

"Took several bids and felt the quote from California Replacement was competitive. The owner Joel took a fair amount of time with us, answering questions and explaining the process. The reviews for his company were good. A date was set for install and Jeff and his crew arrived on-time. The installation took little over two days, which was a little longer than expected due to waiting for the city inspectors to be available. Overall the installation went smoothly and professionally. In addition to the window installation they drilled holes for me in the window to allow my security sensors to be installed. Also for free they patched up two areas in my back wall that needed new stucco.

"After many weekends of research and reading reviews, my wife and I had decided to buy Milgard sliding glass doors through an Angie?sList screen shop that we?d used before for track cleaning.&nbsp; But our last piece of due diligence was a trip to the Pasadena Home Show where we met Emmanuel of California Deluxe Windows.&nbsp; He really impressed us with his <br /> product knowledge and focused but low-keyed pitch.&nbsp; One issue that had been brought up was the yellowing-over-time of certain vinyl products and a supposed exclusion in the Milgard contract re color shift.&nbsp; So we were led to believe we?d have a better chance of the product staying white with CDW because of the purity of the material. &nbsp;But before committing to a deal, we visited the factory where we met the staff, saw the products in the showroom and warehouse and got sold on the company, its experience (over 15,000 installations), its long-lasting products and double-lifetime guarantee.&nbsp; We ordered the wood-laminate-over-vinyl frame which we hadn?t seen anywhere else. &nbsp;We felt that if we had any problems, the company <br /> would stand behind its claims.&nbsp; And it did.&nbsp; After an efficient one-day installation in 2 rooms, the company actually came back 4 times to make adjustments to the screens, including a visit by the supervisor to make some custom additions, all at no extra cost.&nbsp; As a result, we now have gorgeous large custom sliding glass doors the length of our living room wall and a smaller set in our kitchen.&nbsp; And the screens look and work great too.&nbsp; In addition to the insulation we had put in our attic (through another company), the natural temperature control in our house is a huge improvement.&nbsp; And the glass itself adds unexpected richness.&nbsp; <br /> It was explained that this type of work isn?t always predictable because it?s custom - on all types of different structures and in <br /> varying conditions where things bend and sag over time.&nbsp; Our house was built in 1950.&nbsp; Since we?ve been ripped off by contractors before, our main concern now is always whether or not the company will stand by its work.&nbsp; And this company does.&nbsp; The sliding glass doors were perfect.&nbsp; And we had a unique screen situation and the company honored its commitment to us and made them great too.&nbsp; For that reason, we?re grateful to Aaron, Josh, Chad, Emmanuel and Alex for completing the job to our highest expectations.&nbsp; And we strongly recommend CDW to anyone who would take the time to understand the process and stick with the vision.&nbsp; &nbsp;We?re glad we did. <br /> <br />

"We just had our sliders and windows replaced. It took two days start to finish and these guys did a fantastic job. It cost a lot less than what was expected. Their prices are very reasonable. The demo and installation was a seamless process as they progressed along. What I can really appreciate was the level of detail that was put into all phases of the process, reverification of the dimensions of each window before removal, ensuring proper alignment prior to securing the windows and sliders in place. The level of care that was taken for cleanliness was such you wouldn't know that they had been there if it wasn't for the new windows and sliders. These guys did not take any short cuts at any point or time. Everyone in the crews was very polite, extremely professional and very pleasant.
