- JMS Express PlumbingAfter a couple of rain delays, JMS came out to perform a sewer/drain inspection (including video) and cleaning on an older house/outbuilding on my property. Unfortunately, we could no located the 3-inch clean-out, so I had to remove a toilet for them to access the septic line. The tech did his best to get his equipment through the twists and turns of this old plumbing, but through not fault of his, was not able to fully complete the job. He did spend considerable time scoping the drains and septic system (to the point he could reach) and verified things were generally in decent shape, though some work still needs to be done (beyond the scope of the 'deal'). He provided a quote for the additional work (to get the septic system cleared up, install a 3-inch clean-out, etc.) and agreed to re-do the inspection/cleaning job for free at that point if we go forward with the work. All-in-all, a very personable tech, he was prompt for the appointment, and did the best he could given the circumstances. I'd definitely call again if/when I have plumbing needs

I had done some on-line research for the problem and had some specific questions for Angel, the foreman. He answered all my questions satisfactorily. Joe, the owner, came out to check the job at the end. It cost $3800. I didn't have time to get another bid as we were limiting our use of the tank. Considering what plumbers cost, I suspect the price was in the ball park. I gave the price a B because I think it was decent. I would have given an A only if I had obtained other bids. "I contacted another pumping service and they made the whole process sound very complicated and if we couldn't guarantee access to the septic tank then they wanted us to pay an additional locator fee. I explained what I could see in the yard but the worker on the phone didn't seem to even know more than I did so seemed like if I wanted to use their service I would first have to pay to have them come out and look at the septic system. I contacted Darrell's Pumping and explained the whole situation, what I had access to, etc. He had a few minutes available while waiting for his next scheduled appointment so he came by and looked at our system, indicated that he had access to everything he needed and gave a quote and explained what he would need to do and we scheduled an appointment for the next day. Darrell was prompt, did a complete job, and explained everything he was doing, from testing the water as it related to him being able to dispose of it later, how long it would take and that we should let the system dry out rather than refilling it with water and what we could add to the tank to make it function better, as well provided detailed information on how the septic system functions, including the leaching field, the approximate size and overall location of the septic tank and how it's divided into two sections, and what I could do myself to prevent the line from clogging in the future. He didn't try to sell me anything extra, although provided information about other services he provided, but also explained cheaper alternatives that I could perform myself. Would definitely recommend Darrell's Pumping for any of your septic needs and would hire him again in the future.

"Drain/Sewer line was plugged up for part of the house. Plumber arrived promptly in about two hours after phoning in the morning. He called prior to arrival to let us know he was on his way. He rootered it fortunately without having to remove the toilet. Problem solved. Very pleased with this company first time using them. Phil was very courteous. I will definitely call again if needed. Apparently they do other services as well like replace and install toilets, hydrojetting, and more. Good to know.
