  We recently added a full master suite and a new retaining wall at ground level of our existing home. We interviewed several contractors and decided on Shenon Construction to build our addition. Tom Shenon is the principal owner and licensed general contractor of Shenon Construction. The estimated costs were reasonable and within our budget, and Tom worked with us to keep our costs down without sacrificing quality. More importantly, we felt a connection to Tom Shenon, as he is sincere and honest, but knowledgeable and professional in his approach to our needs. The work is now complete, and we are entirely pleased with the outcome of our new addition. Needless to say, the process of adding nearly 400 square feet to a structure, especially in Southern California, is a very complicated and detailed endeavor. There are many strict building and environmental regulations and permitting requirements set forth by numerous governmental entities, as well as homeowners association requirements that we had to navigate. The difficulty of getting through architectural planning, engineering, and city permitting was compounded during the COVID pandemic, but Tom and his design/architectural/engineering team did an excellent job to design our project and guide us through the processes and procedures necessary to complete the process timely and thoroughly. He is a competent contractor and knowledgeable in his field. He allowed us to select and purchase all owner-supplied fixtures and materials ourselves, or use his design and supplier team to obtain required items at the best prices. We used a mixture of contractor-recommended suppliers as well as obtaining our own selection of items based on our personal preferences. All of the subcontractors, project supervisors, and trade craftsmen were superb. They were courteous and respectful of our property, trustworthy, and extremely skillful in their trades. The craftmanship is amazing and resulted in a beautiful, comfortable addition. All the suppliers and subcontractors used by Shenon Construction went above and beyond to help us obtain needed items at reasonable prices in a timely manner. Based on the results of our project, we feel we definitely made the correct choice in Shenon Construction to complete our addition, and we consider Tom and all the craftsmen involved in our project to be long-term friends. We have no regrets, and we look forward to living in our lovely remodeled home

  After interviewing multiple GC’s, we ultimately decided on Tom and Shenon Construction because of his/their punctuality, professionalism, honestly, and experience. We are 75% done with our full house remodel and it’s been a pleasure working with them. Compared to other proposals they are a bit more expensive but you are paying for premium service and labor; there are no short cuts in work. There were multiple occasions where Tom and his crew went the extra mile and above and beyond, and were trustworthy and honest about work that deemed unnecessary or wasteful, which we appreciated since you’re investing thousands of dollars building your home. We have recommended Shenon Construction and will continue to do so

  It went Great! If we could give Sandra Estrada and her team 10 stars we would. We did a huge remodel on a 1900 sf rental home in between renters. Quick turnaround was key so that we could limit the time it was vacant. Sandra came in ON BUDGET and ON TIME! Amazing work! We remodeled 3 bathrooms, where one required removal of a wall and a set of cupboards, of course install of new vanities, toilets, shower doors, tubs, mirrors, fans, canned lighting, accessories, removal of hardboard entire 2nd floor and stairway, repaired and textured all drywall upstairs, all new baseboards and door trims, entire inside painted, new windows, new stucco entire outside of home, exterior facia boards, painting patio cover, new door hardware throughout, new lighting in and out and SO many extras we can’t even remember them all. The team was courteous, cleaned up after themselves, and came on time every day. They were experienced at their craft, whether it was drywall or tile or paint, they did an amazing job. Sandra has an excellent design sense and made so many suggestions that we took her advice on and loved the results. She even took an entire day to go shopping with us to help us make all the selections. We would have been overwhelmed without her. She was quick to respond to our excessive emails and texts and calls and got all our questions answered. We also changed our minds a LOT and she went with the flow without an issue. We kept adding on more work for them as we went along because we were so pleased. The team paid great attention to detail. Her pricing was also very fair. Whether your remodel is big or small, we highly recommend Vasquez Construction and Remodeling

  It was excellent. The work quality was great and basically on schedule except minor delays due to Covid related supply issues. I recommend Superior Home Remodeling without hesitation.   ProTub Resurfacing is a company that values relationships rather than making a quick buck and then dropping you like a bad habit. Their prices are competitive compared to other contractors. The complimentary non-slip treatment on the bathtub works well, and lets you do away with using those rubber mats with suction cups. We even received a small gift from them, which was a nice gesture. We’ve never received anything from any contractors, even for expensive projects. Businesses are often quick to taketh away, but not giveth. Karen, the manager, was organized and pleasant to deal with. Ozzie, the supervisor, came to resurface our tub and tile wall. Initially, there were some minor issues with the work, but a quick call to Karen took care of it. Ozzie gladly returned the next day to make things right. I would not hesitate to call ProTub Resurfacing back for other work
