"I was in dire need need of hiring a company to build a 2 tier retaining wall and placing boulders around my property. My yard was falling and I was concerned that there would be damage to my house. Also, I had issues with random people parking in my lawn for convenience. Due to the location of the work that needed done (on a busy street against a steep hill), no one wanted to take the job. But Jeff Ungerman and his team saved the day. Jeff sent Tom out to meet with us and I was impressed from day one. Tom was not just on time, but a little early (which always impresses me). He was polite and informative of my options. I informed Tom of my budget and needs and he assured me he would relay the information to the owner. A few days later I got a response from Jeff (the owner) that he unfortunately could not stay within my budget due to rising prices and supply issues due to covid. But he never gave up on the project. After quite a lot of emails, Jeff went over every option he could come up with and we finally came up with a solution. His team was there the day after the contract was signed. His team was fast, efficient, and very professional. Jeff was there also, working right along side his crew. When the job was done, me and my husband were more than happy with the finished product. I will definitely use The Grounds Guys again and recommend them to everyone I now.

"Amazing is the only word that describes Paslow Landscaping. Brett was very responsive to every email and question I sent him. The crew came when promised and the job they did was absolutely beautiful!! River rock and nicely placed boulders, a lace leaf Japanese Maple as center focus, and all work completed in several hours and completely cleaned up leaving no sign that they were even here. It is a small yard but hilly and I could not keep up with the weeds and mulch any longer as my knee would not allow. Paslow is a life saver and my yard is gorgeous!! I love it!! "Rick Page always answers his phone. When I first called him, he came immediately to assess my needs for water mitigation/drainage around my house. He handed me copies of his Contractor's Certificate and professional card as he greeted me. He did a careful analysis, explained clearly how he would approach the drainage issues and my other needs, and sent a prompt email to confirm his proposal and the cost of the project (which I felt was very reasonable, in view of the challenges of the task). He gave me an estimated time frame for when he would be able to come to do the work. He stayed in touch with me during the interval of time while I waited for him and his team. All team members were cordial and hardworking. Rick remained with the team and worked along with them for the entire day. They cleaned up carefully at the conclusion of work, and Rick walked around the property with me to review what had been accomplished. I will recommend Rick Page to my neighbors, and I will call him again if future needs arise.

It took him a little longer than he initially estimated to me, but we requested special wood (a more ecologically produced pressure treated lumber) and so there was some time in getting and adjusting to the new materials.
