Whilst we're waiting for Andromeda to collide with the Milky Way, could we get a thread going of your wonderful M31 images from this season, we'd love to see them!

Spring has sprung, so I thought I'd share a view of the Sunflower Galaxy that I captured this week. 30 million years away, it hosts approximately 400 billion stars. The intricate spiral structure and dusty arms make this a wonder to behold. I hope you enjoy it!

Here's a look back in time, at a distance of 21 million light-years, to the Pinwheel Galaxy Messier 101. The spiral galaxy is located in the constellation Usar Major. The picture was taken from my garden with a refractor telescope.

Bode’s Galaxy. Spiral about 12 million light-years away. First time shooting with a Skymax 127. (Using a modded Nikon D810 and 1.7 tc). Planning to add more data in the near future.

Whilst I'm in montage mode...here's another one of the Sun to show the passage of the Earth across the spotty face since last Sunday. Maybe I'll be lucky to complete sequence.

I got some time with the sun today. I probably won't have time to process everything this week, but it was glorious.
