Account Executive, WooCommerce

About The Role

As an Account Executive at WooCommerce, be a part of a sales ecosystem closing new business in partnership with our business development (BDR) and agency channel team. You’ll work with the world’s best ecommerce merchants to show them the true impact for selling their products, subscriptions, and services online. In this role, you will sell our ecommerce suite and payments solutions, build new customer pipelines, develop key relationships based on the value we provide, and close new business.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the ecommerce community introducing WooCommerce to merchants and agencies in all markets: retail, food and drink, professional services, etc.
  • Lead all aspects of the sale from prospect to close and partner with other teams to drive successful onboarding.
  • Constantly growing a pipeline of business opportunities.
  • Successfully moving your way through the sales cycle owning your pipeline.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales goals through inbound / outbound sales efforts.
  • Take a consultative approach to determine customer needs.
  • Partner with Product and Marketing teams to ensure our solutions meet the needs of the merchant.
  • Become a WooCommerce professional and improve business performance by developing an in-depth understanding of what is driving growth and bring to bear insights to advise strategies.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience in a closing role.
  • A BA/BS degree or meaningful experience.
  • High energy, self-motivated, positive, outgoing, engaging, proactive, and able to relate well to a diverse audience.
  • The ability to drive deals independently in a fast-paced multifaceted environment, collaborative, and an extraordinary teammate mentality.
  • Salesforce experience.

  • Ability to Travel. We value those rare occasions when we meet our colleagues in person. Normally, we require 2–3 non-consecutive weeks of travel per year, usually by plane. Currently, company travel is limited, and travellers must be vaccinated. All travel is optional for now. We’re continuing to explore new, remote ways to stay connected.
