This is not just a plugin, it symbolizes the hope and enthusiasm of an entire generation summed up in two words sung most famously by Louis Armstrong: Hello, Dolly. When activated you will randomly see a lyric from Hello, Dolly in the upper right of your admin screen on every page.
Thanks to Sanjib Ahmad for the artwork.
While I appreciate the sentiment, nobody wants this plugin on their website. I always delete it first thing. If it was just sitting in the catalog I could ignore it, but by installing it with every instance, it annoys me and I want it gone.
This is just crap. I really do not understand why wordpress has this plugin preinstalled by default. It is not funny at all. It just makes WP in terms of professionality and business use looking stupid. Since years now it comes by default on every WP installation. Please stop this now on WP 6.0! Grow up and drop this useless plugin from preinstallation.
Always removed on every WP installation because it's useless bloatware. Out of all plugins that exist WP devs made a decision to bundle the most useless of them all on every install just because it was created by co-founder of Wordpress, 18 years ago. Thy shall find no serious site using it, thy shall remove it promptly.
It's all been said before, but I'm here to hopefully help make it loud enough to be heard.
This is not just a plugin, it symbolizes the disgust and disregard for the time and energy of people who make their living developing and maintaining websites.
And this is coming from someone who loves Louis Armstrong.
