Foundation elections[edit]
The Wikimedia Foundation regularly engages the Wikimedia movement in electing individuals to its various governing and advisory bodies. The elections are coordinated by an elections committee appointed by the Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees.
These elections include:
- Board elections
- Community seats on the Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees
- Funds Dissemination Committee elections
- Community seats on the Funds Dissemination Committee
- Funds Dissemination Committee Ombudsperson
Community elections[edit]
The Wikimedia movement itself also engages in regular elections for various functionary and advisory bodies.
These elections include:
- Affiliate-selected Board seats, in which community organizations select 2 of 10 trustees of the Wikimedia Foundation board
- Annual Stewards election
- Arbitration Committee elections
