After a thorough and comparative search for a general contractor needed to lead a full apartment build in an unfinished basement I chose Dominick of D & J due to his long-time experience, fair pricing, and attentiveness. Dominick flawlessly lead his team and other sub-contractors through every aspect of an extensive project, including: demo, excavation, structural support, new concrete subfloor, plumbing, electrical, framing, windows, sheet rocking, tiling, flooring, painting, kitchen install, etc. His team was very punctual and worked consistently every day. The communication with Dominick was excellent as we were in constant contact throughout the project and he was accessible around the clock, answering every single phone call. He was able to take direction well and execute all my desires, while also treating the property as if it was his, taking full responsibility for every aspect of the job and going above and beyond to ensure the best ultimate outcome. He works very clean and he ensures his team always shows attention to details. The final product was an amazing 2 bedroom apartment! Danny and his team are incredibly knowledgeable about all aspects of home remodeling, work hard and fast, maintain excellent communication, and do it at a fair, no-surprises cost. They took on a project that turned into a gut renovation of our 100-year-old basement and turned a dank, cramped pair of rooms into a bright, functional space where my kids can play safely and I can work comfortably. They demo'ed an old kitchen, knocked out walls, built custom cabinetry and storage, rerouted piping and electrical components, even took time to experiment to make a match for the disrupted floor tiles. They painted the walls, painted and stained the steps, and did other projects like hang a new attic door and install a new toilet. I will be calling Champion exclusively for all my future home maintenance/improvement needs. Cannot recommend them enough.

I was very happy with all that stuff his pro did for me. Fixed my wobbly bluestone stairs, put a wood border around fireplace tile and stripped and stained area of floor to match the rest of the room.
