I added new titles in SmartCrawl and Google is still showing my old titles and descriptions. What gives!?

If you’ve recently updated your titles and description, Google probably hasn’t indexed them just yet. It can take up to a week for Google to index changes you’ve made.

Use the “New Crawl” button in the sitemap tab to notify Google of any changes to your site. The Google cache will update when your site has be recrawled. Be patient, it can take some time for the new information to show.

Does SmartCrawl work with Custom Post Types?

Yes, it does! SmartCrawl SEO has full support for custom post types, both in overall management tools (Settings > Title&Meta), as well as in the editor. Plus it works out of the box with both built-in and custom taxonomies.

Does SmartCrawl work with content in page builders like Visual Composer or Beaver Builder?

SmartCrawl works with any normal WP content and page builders shouldn’t be an exception. As long as your theme uses posts, pages and custom post types, SmartCrawl will work.

Excellent and Stylish SEO plugin

We know WPMU DEV for quite a while and they have been developing great plugins and a beautiful hosting platform. They are all about style. What we love about this SmartCrawl SEO plugin, if we compare it to Yoast SEO (also a great SEO plugin) is the fact that it does not come along with tons of bloatware. If you look into the WordPress plugins repositorium, you will find another plugin made exclusively as an addon to Yoast SEO plugin in order to remove all the screen messages and popups being thrown into our faces, all the time, which is ridiculous for sure. WPMU DEV made an excellent plugin, stylish as usual and managed to keep things simple. There is plenty of room for improvement and if sometimes a little bug is found, well... that happens to the best programmers in the World. KISS is an acronym for "Keep It Simple, Stupid". Keep it simple, almost in a stupid way! Cheers!

Meta description is not added to buddypress profiles

I set a default meta description for buddypress profiles but when I viewed the profile page source, no meta description tag was found. Bing also indicated an issue with missing meta description tag. I am also using Youzify in case you want to replicate the issue.

About 10 months have passed since I started working with this unique plugin, and as time passes, my interest in updating and creating a new post on my site and SEO of that post increases. The speed of indexing new links has also increased a lot, in addition, the overall SEO of my site has improved a lot compared to before. But the tool that is really amazing is automatic link building to keywords that has a great impact on page authority and domain authority.
