Description

Simple: allow users to click in the whole column instead of individual elements.

Users will be able to click in the whole column when you add a link on that.

How to use it

After install the plugin, open your Elementor editor, start editing a Column and under the Layout block you can add your custom link.

Works with any internal/external link, Lightbox and Elementor PRO popups trigger.

How this plugin Works?

This plugin will add a custom URL field in each column of your Elementor editor. If you fill it, the column will be clickable.

Please note that the plugin works using JavaScript. So it’s not an actual
<a> element. I do recommend you to also add the regular links on your inner elements for SEO and compatibility purposes. So you make sure that columns and default elements are workingl.

Does just what it says. This functionality should be part of core Elementor. Thanks to the author for creating and maintaining it.

Thanks for the plug-in, great for setting background images in columms and making the whole thing clickable statically or dynamically with custom fields. Any possibility of updating the URL to show the link? Also noticed you can't open a new tab from the link, as you could from a "normal" link.

Absolutely love this - as others have said a necessary and yet missing addition to the excellent Elementor plugin. But! Wordfence has now marked this plugin as follows: Medium Severity Problems: * The Plugin "Make Column Clickable Elementor" appears to be abandoned (updated 12th October 2019, tested to WP 5.2.12). Of course, this plugin works fine (always has) but if the developer wants to either fling out a new version or mark on their description that this Wordfence 'problem' can be safely ignored and marked as such then I guess it is up to them... Anyway thanks again for this plugin.
