Amelia Lite is a free appointment and event booking plugin that allows setting up a fully-featured automated booking system on your WordPress website. No coding or design skills are required to embed Amelia into your website. It is easy to customize booking forms to your branding and start accepting bookings professionally while sending confirmations and avoiding double bookings. Configuring Amelia to receive your first appointment through WordPress is a 5-minute job.
3 easy steps to set up Amelia Lite:

Go to your WordPress’ admin page, open Amelia -> Services, and add categories and services, as described here.

Add a shortcode for the desired booking form to one of your posts or pages. For appointments, add [ameliabooking] shortcode, for events add [ameliaevents].

Save it – and that’s it – now customers can book appointments or events from your site’s front-end using Amelia!
Note: You can customize provider details and schedule on the General Settings page.
Important note: Online payments, integrations, unlimited number of employees, custom notification, multilingual support, and other features are not available in Amelia Lite. Installation
Installing Amelia Lite is as easy as 1-2-3!
- First, either locate the plugin through the WordPress’ built-in plugins browser, upload the ZIP file through WP Admin, or upload the Amelia Lite folder via FTP to your WordPress’ plugins folder on the server.
- Activate the plugin in the “Plugins” page of your WordPress installation.
- Enjoy!
