Initially, we signed up for SharpSpring for our marketing automation platform. For marketing, we use email, landing pages, dynamic forms, life of the lead, automated workflows, etc. While the individual tools are great, SharpSpring really comes to life when you use it across your entire company. The CRM is incredibly customizable and can be used across a variety of industries. Once set up, nearly everything can be used as a trigger for automation flows.

  • Reporting - their tools are limited and there isn't an easy way to send it to a different reporting suite
Over the past several years, SharpSpring has become my preferred solution for small to medium businesses. It has probably 90% of the features that you'll find with the enterprise solutions and is much more intuitive than the competition. Additionally, they pretty much include all of their features in the price. There really aren't upsells or upgrades to get more features. Some tools are better than others. I really like the CRM, Email, & Marketing Automation components. The Landing Page builder is okay but very limited and doesn't take too well to custom HTML code. I probably wouldn't recommend SharpSpring for an enterprise-level customer because it isn't as customizable as many of the enterprise-level marketing automation platforms.
For the prices, features, and ease of use, it really is hard to beat.

I'm enjoying using it as being able to do everything in one platform as it makes life much easier and it's much more affordable than Hubspot. There are enough tools to keep the most experienced marketer busy to help attract leads through chat, emails, forms, landing pages, etc. to build an audience, re-market, or help troubleshoot sales funnel problems.
  • Support. The support team always reply same day, there is online chat (US times) too.
  • Implementing dynamic content that changes depending on the customer persona is cool.
  • The ability to create a clear sales funnel and track your client through the sales process is really easy and highlights areas where more work and focus might be needed in your sales process.
  • There are some definite bugs such as data fields 'locking' when creating a landing page and the later it becomes editable again.
  • the design side of emails and landing pages is not cohesive. So you have a limited range of fonts in forms but lots of customisation for colours for headings, then the reverse for landing pages.
  • Also, the onboarding process for Squarespace websites is different and this is not mentioned anywhere.
SharpSpring is great for marketing automation newbies and those looking to reduce the complexity of navigating a multitude of apps, introduce efficiency, analyzing customer behaviors, increasing audience sizes, and bringing more commercialism to their marketing efforts.

The user needs to set aside a good month, in the beginning, to get the most out of the software in the long run. There is plenty of support (make sure you budget for the paid support from SharpSpring), you just need to spend time using it and learning.
The support is great which really helps overcome challenges if you become stuck and the training videos are great too. Same-day replies are great and I even got some help with some CSS code on the chat. Not many organizations would do this or even respond.

Sales made easy. Our Sales teams uses SharpSpring from start to finish in our sales process. It is where we manage our contacts. We assign buyer personas for dynamic content. The "Life of the Lead" feature gives us a view of what has been done and how successful it was. We put in notes and can make calls directly from the app. We have our email strategy planned and implemented for the upcoming year. The campaign and List feature allow for quick targeting of our prospects. We track our sales opportunities for ROI and where to increase/decrease our marketing tactics. We also offer SharpSpring to our clients.
  • Email marketing with Smart emails and Mail Sync!
  • Workflows for automation. We use that feature for 80% of our email marketing.
  • We use Sales Dialer as well. It is a game changer.
  • The "Unengaged" list. Allows our team to come up with other strategies for contacting a prospect as well as allowing us to update or delete a contact.
  • Social media. When a contact is shown to have a LinkedIn profile we automatically reach out to connect.
  • When using a list or the advanced feature, after the user makes a change SharpSpring automatically goes back to the contact manager. If I have more changes to make, I have to go back to the list or the advanced search each time. I should be able to stay in the list and have a button to proceed back to the contact manager.
  • Alerts to admin at least 24 hours before admin needs to reconnect Social accounts.
We have had huge success using the email marketing feature in SharpSpring. From design to reporting, it has allowed our organization to be seen by the right prospects in a professional manner while tracking our engagement by campaigns and opens/clicks. This reporting allows our team to update tactics and contact's data in an easy and quick way. The automation feature has really helped us with our follow-up! The Sales Dialer is a game-changer as well as the Sales Optimizer!

We currently use SharpSpring in the sales and marketing departments as a marketing automation software and also as a lightweight CRM. It fulfills our needs above and beyond for marketing automation. For CRM, the lead scoring capabilities are fantastic and the tied-in automation free up the sales team for higher-value tasks.
  • The customizable contact manager is a great tool as it allows all of the sales team to sort and filter the way each of them prefers.
  • The email automations are easy to set up (with a little practice, and a bit of logic) and make life so much easier. You can tie them into triggers your leads have stepped into (filling out a form, watching a video on your site, etc.), or simply have them sent out from a tag or a persona assignment (automated or not).
  • The life of the lead is very helpful. Seeing the full story of your lead, in that they may have only filled out a form today, but they've actually been visiting your site for 4 years, is really helpful prior to picking up the phone.
  • While I love the email automations, I do wish they were a little easier to setup. Or it came with templates.
  • The dialer feature definitely has some glitches. One in a while it butchers the number you're calling from and instead of +1(Areacode) it randomly deletes the +1 and then you're calling from +45 or +7.. and your leads ask if you're in Russia (or don't pick up at all...).
I would definitely recommend SS to a team looking for an inexpensive marketing automation solution that has fantastic support (they answer SO fast!) and also needs a lightweight CRM. I don't think this is the right solution for a massive sales team, but for a smaller one likes ours, it's perfect.

SharpSpring is a go-to resource with all the tools needed for a start to finish marketing - sales solution. It's our CRM and marketing platform; we rely on it to monitor, track and analyze activity and respond in a timely manner. We use it to attract, nurture and maintain prospects/clients. With lead scoring, personas, notification, automated workflows, campaigns and customizable pipelines we're able to keep on top of opportunities. With dynamic emails and landing pages, chatbots and forms we can communicate effectively with targeted messaging.

We feel SharpSpring is the best option for a comprehensive and effective marketing/sales platform. As a bonus, it's more cost-efficient.

  • Campaign creation is made easy.
  • Analytics and reporting are basic.
  • Blogging capabilities are minimal.
Should your business require a cost-effective and easy-to-use marketing automation system, where you might not have lots of content initially, SharpSpring would be a good fit. It would also be particularly good should you already have a CMS/functional website where you are looking to improve on your content activities in a more strategic manner.

SharpSpring has become our primary marketing automation platform - we use it extensively for both our sales and marketing departments. We use the CRM daily to track and monitor our sales pipeline. We use the marketing functionality to manage all of our inbound and outbound campaigns to attract and engage new clients. We also use SharpSpring as a white label solution and extend the services to manage several of our clients marketing campaigns as well. SharpSpring is both an enabling solution for our business and also a recurring revenue driver for our business .

I think SharpSpring is very complete and helps our organization to do marketing automation and sales in only one software with every information integrated and tracked. In our company we use email and landing pages with lead scoring to reach our real prospects and with the CRM integrated, our sales team can be in contact with those prospects and maybe close the deal using only one tool.

At first, we started using Sharpspring as an automation platform for our company; however, the more we became familiar with its various resources and features, we have officially adopted it to optimize our processes across the whole organization. Today, we use Contact Manager and Sales Pipeline for the sales and account management departments; and we implemented it in the marketing team for e-mails, landing pages, dynamic forms, lead tracking, and, most importantly, automated workflows, which had a very positive impact in our productivity overall. We appreciate the individual tools, but Sharpspring did wonders for team work in general. I would point to the CRM tool as the most important and efficient one for our team in the present moment, since it is very flexible and customizable, and can be applied to several different industries. The new automation flows allowed us to focus on our top priorities, eliminated unnecessary work, and spared us a lot of time.

One of the best things about Sharpspring is how simple and effective the marketing tools are; plus, how customizable the sales pipeline is for any client within different sections of the industry. Also, the e-mail marketing tool is very powerful and dynamic within its content capabilities and the form creation tool is very intuitive and yet very effective. I should also point out how effective and amazing the customer support is; very attentive and helpful team. I believe that Sharpspring could be even better if other features were updated; the landing page builder still lacks some robustness, but it does the job. The platform is also missing out on push notification and native SMS integration, which would really be a plus in our work processes.

Looking all around the market, you will find sharpspring, with a slightly different business model that can make some eye turn but after you understand you will love it.The fact that you can buy directly from agencies that know the product and already know your objectives and product, is brilliant since no one will understand more your client than their selves and you that is emerging on his market, some platform forces you to buy their onboarding package that in the end, you don't leave with much.A platform with that many features on the begging can be a little overwhelming, but with time, you understand the reason for each feature.I use them for lead management, campaign, sales pipeline, and don't feel that i am using their potential 100% already

The ability to manage different markting verticals and create drip campaigns that automatically deploy based on their interacion with our content allows us to maintain top of mind awareness in our prospective clients.

Deliver highly professional collateral including emails, landing pages, blog posts and ads. We maximise return on investment thanks to the standard of the analytics. Effectively track and remarked site visitors. Manage sales teams efficiently.

  • The onboarding and support teams are professional, knowledgeable and friendly.
  • There is an issue with social posting to Facebook mobile that is being worked on. This will deliver a better posting experience.
It is perfect for businesses considering a move to greater automation. It has complete sales and marketing functionality so can minimise the number of applications in a business's stack. If you are considering Hubspot etc I’d definitely include SharpSpring during your research as it’s functionality is so similar and it’s costs are so much less.

Not all teams use the program. It has also been fundamentl for the sales team, structuring all the new clients. Excellent platform for sales and marketing. Powerful framework for mapping leads and managing them. I believe that the platform delivers a lot, making the price not absurd. An excellent tool for medium and large companies delivering a lot of value and performance. It's definitely at the top of nominations. In general, it is a program that needs to be thought more about the issue of managing social media and a friendlier interface for those who are learning. Your support is very good making the initial deadlocks to be resolved quickly.

I use this product to schedule content for a few different LinkedIn accounts. Our email marketing department runs drip campaigns and sends out emails through Sharpspring. This is a vital stepping stone toward automation!

We not only use SharpSpring internally for lead management and email automation but also resell it to our clients. I train our clients on how to implement the CRM into their business and manage comprehensive drip campaigns for them. It is an excellent choice to introduce email automation since it is incredibly easy to use and the support team is very helpful and accessible.

It's an excellent choice for small businesses who are looking for ways to streamline their sales process and get started with email automation. For large businesses with more that 500 open sales leads at a time, it may not be appropriate since the sales pipeline has a max capacity of 500 opportunities. However, out of more than a dozen clients I have on the platform, 99% of them are extremely satisfied and find the platform easy to use and helpful to tracking ROI.

While I have been in marketing for 15+ years, I am just now bringing marketing, as a service, to our company. We currently have only two staff members involved in our marketing team, but we do have some very long-trusted freelancers helping us with various aspects of our marketing development.
  • Customer service is the best I've experienced from any company, ever.
  • The tool set is robust and relatively easy to use and understand
  • Specifically, the level and ease of use of the automated job sets is outstanding
  • Some of the email templates are tricky
SharpSpring is perfect for any agency that wants to maximize its ability to offer services for its clients. It contains a robust set of very nicely built tools and systems. I would not recommend it for an agency that does not have someone who is willing and able to work the tool. While it is a fantastic tool, it does require human interaction to get it set up. Once it is set up, however, it will do so many things on its own. Automation!
Again, I have never experienced better customer service with any product. Sincere truth.

We use it as our own CRM and Email Automation platform. We also resell it and provide support and marketing services for clients. It addresses a mix of standalone CRM and integrated email marketing applications for our customers. Ultimately it's used to communicate, build awareness, lead nurture, and help increase sales.

  • Continuous improvement - SharpSpring listens and reacts quickly to make the platform even better
  • Support - fantastic support team - very responsive and competent
  • Agency-Focused - SharpSpring doesn't try to own your clients which is important for us
  • Nothing glaring but as with all SaaS offerings, as the product develops based on adding more and more features, the initial simplicity starts to get lost somewhat. Of course, there is a strong upside to this as well, so it's a trade-off.
Perfect for those looking for the functionality of larger, more established platforms - for less cost! In my opinion, companies with less than 100K contacts are an ideal fit. We have managed one with over 300K for a period without missing a beat, but I suspect companies with millions of contacts would want a more customizable solution (likely one that has been developed for them). We have also found the price-point well suited for entry-level marketing automation relative to competitors in the space.
