New feature for phone calls: Caller ID.

The app will show who’s calling you and if an unknown number could be spam. Smart algorithms recognize suspicious incoming calls and check numbers using their own database of companies. The service is free and can be enabled in Settings.

Chats now remember where you closed them. Next time you open them, you can keep reading from the same place, as long as there aren’t any new messages.

Almost perfect

My music doesn’t play in the background anymore, now if I switch to another app or darken the screen my music turns off. Please, please, please fix this. Because when I come back to music , it turns out that VK app got refreshed and reset itself so if I’m listening to audiobooks or podcasts it clears everything that now I have to try to find the last spot I last listened. It’s very frustrating and more than a little annoying. Help me please...please would you bring back the “play in background “option???

Buffering takes forever + nudity and porn is constantly promoted on my public stories feed

I’ve been on VK long time ago, I just returned again yesterday. I noticed major updates and changes, but I am so disappointed to discover that everything that loads takes forever to load! I have a new account and I noticed that nudity and porn was constantly promoted on my stories feed too… why? How come such photos and videos stay so long out there in public at VK? Don’t you have bots that detect nudity and pornography? So I tried to report those content but after I click the report button, the report page loads so long like forever 😑 I waited for it, it took like 10+ minutes until it finally showed a message saying “Error Failed to load page” so how an I going to report such obvious major rule violations? I came to VK for socialization and entertainment with clean and innocent stuff, not pornography 😑 so I tried reinstalling the app then I can’t log in anymore, it kept saying that my password is wrong when clearly it’s correct because I know my password very well. I tried to click the “change password” and it buffers and doesn’t load too! This is the worst experience I ever had with a social media app and I was surprised to see it on VK! It was never like this before…

Best Social Media

I absolutely love this social media network! The feed has an AI system to detect what posts the user is interested in, so the posts on top get shown first. For those who do not like the order, they can change it in settings to make it newest first. The Search feature helped me find plenty of ornithological groups and much more fun ideas, posts and groups. The comments can glitch, but it is pretty rare and it can be solved by just restarting the app. The comment system is great overall. Also, you can make audio and video calls! The notifications help me get posts from interesting groups, friends and people I followed. If you do not want to receive notifications, you can safely turn them off on the page's menu. The additional features are also great! I really recommend this to everyone!
