Qoʻngʻirot District (Uzbek: Qoʻngʻirot tumani, Karakalpak: Qońırat rayonı, Russian: Кунградский район, romanized: Kungradsky rayon) is a district of Karakalpakstan in Uzbekistan. The capital lies at Qoʻngʻirot (Kungrad).[1] Its area is 76,000 km2 (29,000 sq mi)[2] and it had 132,800 inhabitants in 2022.[3]
The district contains one city (Qoʻngʻirot), five towns (Jasliq, Oltinkoʻl, Qirqqiz (Oqshoʻlaq), Elobod, Qaraqalpaqstan) and twelve rural communities (Adebiyat, Ajaniyaz, Qoʻngʻirot, Kanli, Urnek, Raushan, Suuyenli, Ustyurt, Xorezm, Kokdarya, Miynetabad and Qipshaq).[1]
