I hired JK General Contractor and give it five stars not because it was the lowest price of the three contractors that gave me bids, but because the company has something other companies don't often exhibit: integrity. It also has great customer service and provides a great value for the money.
After we signed a contract for a screened-in deck with the company and paid a third of the cost of the deck as a deposit, my husband and I found we needed to cancel the contract because of a major change in plans (a move). We thought that it meant we would lose the deposit. However, JK General Contractor returned our deposit minus the amount that had been spent on designing the deck. We were thrilled. I don't believe the other two contractors that gave us bids would have done so. If we end up staying here after all, we will definitely go back to JK General Contractor, sign the contract again, and have the deck built.
When I selected JK General Contractor, I read ALL of the reviews of the three contractors that gave us bids, particularly reading the bad reviews, looking for a pattern among the comments. The reviews for the other contractors led me to believe that either they had financial problems that interfered with on-time delivery if you were among the unlucky few customers or had management problems. None of those problems appeared in the "bad" reviews of JK General Contractor. The materials normally used by JK General Contractor were higher in quality than that used by the other contractors. Looking for the lowest price often, perhaps most often, doesn't get you a quality product and good service.

We hired Mike and his team to replace old, wood deck boards with composite boards, replace the screen around the enclosed portion of my deck, and paint the wood pickets on top of my front portico. They even sealed boards I did not get to, and that was not part of our contract. They went above and beyond, and the work they did was excellent. We are very happy with the finished product, and it all looks great. They do not leave any mess afterward either. It is good to work at a fair price. And Mike is very easy to work and communicate with, responding to all my texts and answering all my questions. Just be sure to go over the work completely, and have them finish any punch-out list before you hand over the final payment. I did have a couple of minor issues I found after the fact, and while Mike said he would come back to take care of them, he has yet to do so. It appears I will have to take care of them myself, but considering that he was thousands less than all the other estimates, this is a minor inconvenience.

It was a pleasure hiring Mr. Estevez to remove a small partition wall separating our dining room from our living room. He did a great job with the removal, patching the hole on the adjoining wall, and painting over it. He was even gracious enough to paint the rest of the wall just to make sure everything matches. Project was a deck for my townhome. Used HA to gather proposals. JAC was the first to come by, looked at the job and told me, No problem. Got others to come out too but the experience was never as professional. Some quotes were too high. Others sent no quotes at all. JAC worked with my budget and did the job in only a day and a half. I worked with A&J to repair a bunch of rotted trim on the exterior of my home. They did the job quickly, cleaned up the site, and everything looks great. They could've done a smash and go job but they took their time to get all of the rotted wood and make sure the finished product looked good. I will happily work with them again on future projects.

We hired Kris Painting Service because they had the best price and were very responsive and professional from the beginning. We had our whole interior house repainted, front door and entrance done as well as some drywall repair. Kris was adaptive and able to add on items I requested after the original quote and it really didnâ t break the bank even with my add ons! These guys are absolutely FANTASTIC!! They are very thorough and pay attention to detail. I was very nervous about my project before I hired them but I'm glad I made the right decision. Jordan is outstanding to work with. He treats you like he really wants to earn and keep your business. Also, this is a veteran friendly company so that is very much appreciated. They are about 80 percent complete with my project but I'm not worried at all. Based on what I've seen thus far, I'm sure the finished product will be to my liking. I was very pleased with the professionalism of the men who worked on this project. The crew did a great job of replacing the screen on my back porch and did so while being mindful of my flower bed and landscaping.
Fred was quick to respond to my request for repair/replacement, asked me to take a photo of my porch, then came soon thereafter to measure and give me an estimate.
I would definitely recommend Aldridge Enterprises and would use them again if needed.
