Seth, Tyler and Emanuel did excellent work on our crawl space encapsulation. Great guys and extremely clean work!
The job needs to be fixed already it wasnâ t done to completion on day one. I needed the concrete patio to shed water away from the house. It currently is shedding water towards the house. Why I hired them is to correct that problem. My hope is this small issue will be able to be resolved today.
On time and fast service.
They rebuilt my 110 yr old chimney with new brick and tuck pointed my stone walls in my basement. I have to say they did a beautiful job and cleaned everything up when done. I would recommend these guys in a heart beat!
The foreman went through everything step by step. Everything was cleaned up very well before they left. They were very polite and easy to talk to. Answered all of my concerns. Would highly recommend them.
Following a pipe burst and extensive water damage Tom assessed the needs and developed a plan that would remedy the damage and create a system that would prevent future water damage. His Maltese crew did excellent work clearing out the crawl space, repairing the walls in that space, setting in place a drain system to remove water from the adjacent wall, and installing a drain system in the basement.

So far, so good..... still waiting for another huge storm to really test it, but they will return and fix it if it didn't work in two very difficult spots. Their care of my yard during the instillation was awesome.
They have a very good installer
The biggest standout to me with PK Salt is their integrity. They show up when they say they will, and they communicate clearly along the way. Building at your home can be so stressful. so when people show up when they are supposed to and do the job you are paying them to do it goes a long way towards building trust that things will get done right. I appreciated frequent communication and a company that stands by their work and their word.

A house’s foundation is always located under the house itself. A foundation is the load-bearing portion of a home and is usually built below ground, though different types are built at different locations under a home. For instance, a basement foundation is built at least eight feet deep into the ground under the house to create living space below the ground level of the home. A crawl space foundation is built under a shallow trench beneath your home—typically between two and five feet deep. A slab foundation, also known as a monolithic or monoslab foundation, simply lays flat against the ground under your home. Pier and beam foundations also rest on the ground, but elevate the home using piers, typically about two feet off the ground.
The typical cost to repair a foundation is between $2,200 and $7,500, though most homeowners pay around $4,800. The price of a foundation repair depends on the extent of damage. Major repairs that require the use of hydraulic piers can cost $10,000 or more, while minor cracks can run as low as $500. Fixing a leaky foundation by sealing it costs between $2,300 and $7,300.
Concrete foundations that are reinforced with steel plinth and beams are considered to be the strongest type of foundation—especially on lots with loose or muddy soil. This type of foundation uses a reinforced concrete beam built between the wall and the foundation. Homes built in areas that are prone to flooding or earthquakes also benefit from a foundation that contains steel plinth and beams.
