Description
The Apple Store app provides a more personal way to shop for the latest Apple products and accessories. Get recommendations based on the Apple products you already own. Find out which accessories are compatible with your devices. Easily upgrade to a new iPhone from your current one. Keep track of your orders wherever you go. And sign up for hands-on sessions in store. You can even use Apple Pay to check out from your iPhone when you visit a participating Apple Store.
Note that the Apple Store app and certain features are available only in selected countries.
How your data is used
To confirm compatibility and recommend products, the app will only access the name, model and part number of devices linked to your Apple ID. To turn off this feature, go to My Devices in Account Settings.

Works fairly well / tracking # integration broken
Works fine, however at least in the case of Australia Post as a delivery partner, when you click on track order, the tracking number shown is wrong, it has a “&type” appended to it which makes it invalid. This might not strictly be the app’s fault but this is probably the best place to report it?

Thinking about ordering an iPad Air for my dad for his birthday. The app is very easy to navigate and it organises all the apple products in a very convenient place. I love Apple and all of the wonderful things the company does. I do have an iPhone 11, and an iPhone 6, so obviously I try to preserve my 11 by using my 6, and is a little annoying as I can’t use the app without updating. This proves to be impossible, as the iPhone 6 is only allowed to go to 12.5.1. Other than that... PRETTY GOOD 👍
Cannot sign out without signing out of iCloud
This app really needs to have login/logout functionality that's completely independent of the Apple ID logins that are used on iOS/iPadOS for iCloud or the App Store and Media.
This app for me is for some reason signed in with my iCloud Apple ID, but I use a separate Apple ID for App Store and purchases, and this is also the primary Apple ID I use for purchases from the Apple Store.
There appears to be no way for me to sign out of the Apple Store app, with out completely signing out of all the Apple ID's (including iCloud) that I'm signed into in Settings, which is a huge waste of time. And I don't even know that if I do this, that when I want to sign back in, that I can some how get the Apple Store app to recognise the Apple ID that I want, and not my iCloud Apple ID.
So until this app has basic account management and login functionality that's completely independent of the iOS/iPadOS logins, it's pretty useless.
