Auf der Gulaschprogrammiernacht gibt es wieder alles, was das Hacker- bzw. Haecksen-Herz begehrt: Vorträge, Workshops, Demoshow, Blinkedingsies, Musik, die mindestens zwei Leuten viel zu laut oder zu leise sein wird, ein großes Hackcenter, Karlsruhes Jahresvorräte an Mate und Tschunk, eine epische Lounge, eine wundervolle Lavawiese und natürlich viel Gulasch! Vier Tage lang wird wieder gehackt, vorgetragen, gebastelt und diskutiert, dass die Nullen und Einsen fliegen. Willkommen sind alle, von den üblichen Verdächtigen bis zu den noch völlig Unerfahrenen, Niedagewesenen.

Vorträge und Workshops

Wie viele Vorträge und Workshops letztendlich zur Auswahl stehen und wie interessant sie sein werden, das hängt ganz von euch ab! Wir freuen uns auf Vorträge zu bunt gefächerten Themen und einem breiten Workshopprogramm für alle Teilnehmer*innen. Eure Vorschläge könnt ihr im Pretalx einreichen. Wenn ihr nicht selbst etwas anbieten wollt, aber Menschen kennt, die ihr unbedingt als Speaker*innen auf der GPN sehen möchtet, dann werdet aktiv und weist sie auf diesen Aufruf hin. Bitte gestaltet Vorträge und Workshops möglichst barrierefrei und für ein breites Publikum verständlich. Die Vorträge werden standardmäßig aufgezeichnet und auf media.ccc.de online gestellt, ein Opt-Out ist jederzeit möglich.

Trollen

Die GPN funktioniert, wie alle anderen Chaos-Events, nur dank des tatkräftigen Einsatzes vieler Helfer*innen, die vom Infodesk bis zu den Livestreams alles am Laufen halten. Wer mitmachen will, kann sich bald im Trollsystem registrieren. Bei speziellen Tätigkeiten werden Neulinge eingewiesen, sodass auch hier keine Vorkenntnisse oder besonderen Qualifikationen nötig sind.

Mini-FAQ

• „Was kostet ein Ticket?“ – Es gibt keine Tickets und der Eintritt ist frei. Die GPN ist spendenfinanziert, die Preise für Getränke und Essen sind niedrig. Um die Veranstaltung in diesem und auch im nächsten Jahr zu ermöglichen, sind wir auf eure Spenden angewiesen.
• „Warum sollte ich mich anmelden?“ – Damit wir wissen, wie viele Stühle, Tische, Gulasch- und Tschunkzutaten bestellt werden müssen. Textil-Swag muss bei der Anmeldung reserviert werden. Zudem bekommt ihr ein kostenloses ÖPNV-Ticket über die Anmeldung.
• „Was sind Trolle?“ – So nennen wir unsere Helfer*innen, vergleichbar zu den Engeln bei anderen Chaosveranstaltungen. Komm vorbei und trolle mit uns!
• „Ich habe noch andere Fragen!“ – Dann schau zuerst auf unserer ausführlichen FAQ nach und wenn du dort keine Antwort findest, schreibe uns eine Mail.

At the Gulaschprogrammiernacht there will be everything what the heart of a hacker or a haeckse longs for: talks, workshops, demo show, blinkingthingies, music that - as always - will be way too loud or too quiet for at least two people. A big hackcenter, Karlsruhe’s yearly supply of mate and Tschunk, an epic lounge, a wonderful lava meadow and - of course - lots of wonderful goulash! For four days there will be hacking, lecturing, tinkering and discussing again that ones and zeros will fly. Everyone’s welcome, from the usual suspects to the (still) inexperienced and firsttimers.

Lectures and workshops

How many talks and workshops are going to be available and how interesting they will be is completely up to you! We are looking forward to a wide range of topics for talks and workshops for all participants. You can submit your proposals in the Pretalx. If you don’t want to offer something yourself, but know people you would like to see as speakers at the GPN, please forward this call to them. Please make your presentations and workshops as accessible and understandable as possible. Presentations will be recorded by default and posted online at media.ccc.de, opt-out is possible at any time.

Trolling

The GPN, like all other Chaos events, is only possible thanks to the energetic efforts of many helpers who keep everything running from the info desk to the livestreams. If you want to participate, you can soon register in the troll system. For some special activities newcomers will be instructed so that no previous knowledge or special qualifications are necessary.

For everything else, there’s the Internet: Follow the goulash.

Mini-FAQ

• “How much is a ticket?” - There are no tickets and admission is free. GPN is donor-funded and prices for drinks and food are low. We rely on your donations to make this year’s and next year’s event possible.
• “Why should I register?” - So we know how many chairs, tables, goulash and tschunk ingredients we have to order. Textile swag must be reserved at the time of registration. Also, by registering, you will get a free public transport ticket.
• “What are trolls?” - That’s what we call our helpers, comparable to the angels at other chaos events. Come by and troll with us!
• “I have other questions!” - Then first check our detailed FAQ and if you don’t find an answer there, write us a mail.

tl;dr Vorträge, Kunstprojekte und Musik für den Stream der DiVOC bb3. Deadline für die Einreichung: 13.3.2022, Veranstaltung vom 15.–18.4.2022.

Die Blasen und Echokammern, in denen wir uns alle bewegen, scheinen in der Pandemie noch enger und undurchlässiger geworden zu sein. Was sind das für Blasen, wer erzeugt sie, wie tauchen wir wieder daraus auf? Wir freuen uns über Vorträge rund um Technik, Wissenschaft und Politik und Gesellschaft. Besonders wünschen wir uns Themen, die sich mit der aktuellen gesellschaftlichen Auseinandersetzung beschäftigen, mit Fragen der Partizipation und Barrierearmut, mit Wissenschaftsvermittlung und -leugnung und „Fake News“.

Und dieses Mal möchten wir ein Format ausprobieren: wir möchten jeden Tag ein Panel zu einem Themenkomplex haben, mit Expert*innen und verschiedenen Blickwinkeln. Ihr seid solche Expert*innen und möchtet zu einem Thema beitragen? Oder ihr habt ein Thema und möchtet Spezialist*innen vorschlagen? Dann reicht bitte entsprechende Vorschläge ein!

Für Vorträge haben wir eine Länge von entweder 30 oder 60 Minuten (plus Q&A) vorgesehen. Wenn ihr etwas besonderes vorhabt, können wir davon aber auch abweichen. Kunstprojekte und Musik stimmen wir individuell mit euch ab.

Alle Formate werden live gestreamt und zum Nachschauen aufgezeichnet; wenn ihr möchtet, könnt ihr euren Vortrag vorher aufzeichnen. Wir möchten aber auf jeden Fall ein Live-Q&A mit euch machen. Wenn es die Situation zulässt und ihr es möchtet, könnt ihr euren Vortrag auch aus einem der teilnehmenden Spaces halten. Wir freuen uns, wenn ihr in Bild und Ton vor der Kamera erscheint, aber wir finden kreative Lösungen, wenn das passt. Details zu all dem sprechen wir rechtzeitig vor Ostern mit euch ab.

tl;dr Talks, art projects and music for the stream of DiVOC bb3. Deadline for submissions: 13.3.2022, Event 15.–18.4.2022.

During the pandemic, the bubbles and echo chambers all of us inhabit seem to have gotten even tighter and more impermeable. We look forward to your talks about technology, science, politics and society. We’re particularly interested in talks addressing current social debates, questions of participation, accessibility, science education and science denial, and “fake news”.

And this time we would like to try out a new format: each day, we want to a have panel on a range of topics, with experts and different viewpoints. You are an expert and you would like to contribute? Or you have a suggestion for a topic and know people who are specialists? Then submit your suggestion, please!

Talks can have a length of either 30 or 60 minutes (plus a Q&A). If you have something special in mind, we can diverge from that. Art projects and music are coordinated individually.

All formats are streamed live and are recorded for later viewing; if you prefer, you can pre-record your talk. In any case, we would love to do a live Q&A with you. If the situation permits and you’re game, you can hold your talk from one of the participating spaces. We’re happy if you appear in front of the camera, but we’ll find creative solutions if that is not appropriate. We’ll discuss all details with you in time for Easter.

tl;dr Ein hybrides Event: Online und in euren Spaces. Macht schräge Sachen, um Menschen aus ihren Bubbles rauszuholen und zusammen zu bringen. Bringt euch ein im Wiki und IRC #divoc-bb3, um das zu planen. Vom 15.-18.4.2022.

Die Blasen und Echokammern, in denen wir uns alle bewegen, scheinen in der Pandemie noch enger und undurchlässiger geworden zu sein. Wir möchten uns austauschen, und die Blasen miteinander verschmelzen lassen. Das DiVOC muss zwar zum dritten Mal das Easterhegg ersetzen, aber dieses Mal (hoffen wir) lässt die Situation zumindest kleinere Gruppen zu, die gemeinsam etwas vor Ort machen können. Also nutzen wir die Chance, die lokalen Blasen weltweit zu vernetzen. Hack the new normal!

Baut eine Jitsi-Ecke in eurem Club, streamt einen Vortrag aus eurem Space (wir helfen euch mit der Technik), vernetzt euch mit anderen Spaces, bringt Workadventure-Avatare in die Realität. Tragt euch mit euren Ideen ins Wiki (Link zur “Assembly-Seite”) ein, diskutiert im Hackint-IRC in #divoc-bb3, und kommt in mehrere Mumbles, in der alle Interessierten sich koordinieren können. Lasst uns gemeinsam eine bessere Welt bauen!

In gewohnter DiVOC-Manier setzen wir auf Selbstorganisation. Nutzt das Wiki, um eure Ideen und Angebote zu promoten und Mitstreiter*innen zu finden. Wir werden ein Workadventure haben, in das ihr eure eigenen Maps einbringen könnt, und freuen uns auf eure Erweiterungen, um Workadventure mit der Welt da draußen zu verknüpfen. Und die vielen BBBs und Jitsis bei uns und anderen laden dazu ein, spontan oder von langer Hand vorbereitet Sessions und Workshops durchzuführen.

Ein Vortragsprogramm und eine Lounge gibt’s natürlich auch, aber erst mal wollen wir euch anstacheln, verrückte und coole Ideen zu einer hybriden Veranstaltung zu entwickeln!

During the pandemic, the bubbles and echo chambers all of us inhabit seem to have gotten even tighter and more impermeable. We want to interact and merge the bubbles. DiVOC has to replace Easterhegg for the third time, but this time around we hope that the situation allows for small groups to do things together in person. So let’s use the chance to network the bubbles worldwide. Hack the new normal!

Build a Jitsi corner in your club, stream a talk from your space (we’ll help with the technical setup), network with other spaces, connect Workadventure avatars to the real world. Add your ideas to the Wiki, discuss your projects on the Hackint IRC channel #divoc-bb3, and join our mumbles that we’ll host to help everybody coordinate. Let’s build a better world together!

In the usual DiVOC manner we’re relying on self-organisation. Use the wiki to promote your ideas and offerings and find collaborators. We’ll have a Workadventure you will be able to add your own map to, and we’re looking forward to your extensions to connect Workadventure with the physical world. And all the BBB and Jitsi servers at CCC and elsewhere invite everybody to have spontaneous or planned sessions and workshops.

We’ll also have a talk program and a lounge stream, but for now, we want to spur you on to create crazy and cool ideas for a hybrid event!

Die remote Chaos Experience 2021 NOW/HERE neigt sich dem Ende zu. Von Opening bis Closing vergingen 96 Stunden. Und wir legen noch ein bisschen was drauf.

Der Weltuntergang ist verschoben auf 2022. Unser BSI – die besonders schöne Infrastruktur – bleibt bis 1. Januar um 11:00 Uhr auf Best-Effort-Basis bestehen. Mit den World-Chats, Jitsi & BBBs habt Ihr die Möglichkeit, mit Euren Lieblings-Nerds Silvester zu feiern.

Unser Dank gilt allen, die über Monate daran gearbeitet haben, dieses Event möglich zu machen. Und allen, die das Jetzt und Hier bevölkern und feinen Fug gemeinsam tun.

Bleibt sicher, bleibt exzellent, auch wenn das kommende Jahr wieder neue Herausforderungen für uns alle bringen wird. Aber was wären wir Nerds schon ohne besondere Herausforderungen …

The remote Chaos Experience 2021 NOW/HERE is coming to an end. 96 hours passed from opening to closing. And we’re taking it further this year.

The end of the rC3-world is postponed to 2022. Our marvellous infrastructure will remain online on a best-effort basis until January 1 at 11:00am. With world chats, Jitsi & BBB, you’ll have the opportunity to celebrate New Year’s Eve with your favourite nerds.

We thank everyone who worked for months to make this event possible. And all of you who populate the here and now, doing great things together.

Stay safe, be excellent, even if the coming year will bring new challenges for all of us. But what would we nerds be without special challenges?

Your Workshops: How to SoS

Hello!

An important part of the real life Congress are the numerous self-organized sessions (SoS). We’re eager to make this possible for you at rC3.

It’s easier than you think. You open the engine room and at the tab “selforganized” you click on “create SoS”. Then you enter the details of your self-organized session. You can use Markdown in the description field. Remember to tick the box “public”, so your session shows up in the schedule as well as via search.

After saving your session it will appear on the overview page as well as via the search box on the platform.

On the detail page of your self-organized session you will find the link to your temporary video conference room (BBB). All rC3 participants (people with a ticket) can join it.

In case you want to share your self-organized session with people outside of rC3, you can post a link to your own conference room in the description. Please inform your participants that they are leaving the rC3 grounds and also about the data privacy rules on your infrastructure.

Ihr habt sicherlich schon darauf gewartet: hier sind die Infos zum Programm der Channels.

Das Wichtigste zuerst: Das Opening der #rc3 beginnt um 11:00 Uhr, ausgestrahlt wird es bei ChaosWest-TV, FeM und xHain. Bei den gleichen Adressen werdet Ihr auch am letzten Tag um 18:15 Uhr fündig, wenn Ihr Euch für den Infrastructure Review interessiert. Direkt darauf, um 19:00 Uhr wird bei ChaosWest-TV und FeM das Veranstaltungs-Closing folgen.

Dieses Mal neu wird das Format der c3newsshow sein, die Ihr bei about:future, FeM und xHain sehen könnt. Mehrmals am Tag werden hier interessante Programmpunkte vorgestellt und auf Highlights hingewiesen. Wenn Ihr bei dem verteilten Programm nicht sicher seid, wo Ihr überhaupt hin möchtet, oder einfach auf neue Themen oder Ideen stoßen wollt, schaut doch mal rein, es ist sicher etwas Spannendes für Euch dabei.

Das gesamte Programm der Veranstaltung findet Ihr selbstverständlich auch im Fahrplan.

surely you have already been waiting. Here’s the info about the program that’ll be produced by the channels.

First things first: The opening of this year’s #rC3 is happening at 11:00am and will be broadcasted by ChaosWest-TV, FeM and xHain. The same channels will also host the Infrastructure Review on the last day of the event at 6:15pm. Directly followed by the closing, streamed by ChaosWest-TV and FeM.

Newly introduced this year will be the format of c3newsshow, which you’ll see in the program of about:future, FeM and xHain. Several times a day, the newsshow will present interesting talks and highlights through the content of all channels. If you’re lost among the many channels and program points and you’re not sure where to go, or if you want to catch something new, have a look, and let our heralds inspire you.
