Called Moe to see if he could meet us that day and arrived early to give us an estimate on the original work we wanted done. We called him again for another estimate on a Saturday and again he arrived early. Moe emailed us the estimates within two days of meeting with him. Moe was very punctual and friendly with everything. The best contractor we have worked with or seen. All of his employees displayed great safety techniques and were courteous. There were no surprises that were not handled professionally and in a timely manner. M and S Construction insisted on quality work through out the job, NO Shortcuts! M and S Construction is the company that you would send to work on your mother's house. Excellent!

The project involved removing an exterior wall which was made of brick and replacing it with a stucco wall with a door and window in ti. The new wall had to be moved one foot from where the brick wall had been so foundation work had to be done. The new wall also had to be ties into the other existing walls, one of which was brick. Paul came up with good solutions to all the issues that arose during planning and construction and the work was of high quality and at a fair price.

We needed to remove a cyclone fence covered with 30 years of ivy and have a 100 ft long, 6 ft tall cinder block wall built in its place. Mike was able to take on our project within a month, and completed it within a week. Great price, excellent wall, crew was great, highly recommend!

Seth promptly responded to our request for an estimate for a cinder block wall. His price was good, and he started the next day. When that wall was finished, we needed an additional retaining wall, and he started that immediately. His crew worked quickly on both jobs.

We had a "garden" style 4" thick slumpstone block wall across our backyard at our Simi Valley home that had shifted on it's foundation, and was leaning outward away from our property. A neighbor that shares the wall with us got 4 quotes from local wall contractors. After the contractor we chose to do the work backed out due to a family problem, I searched for a new wall contractor, as I didn't like the other 3 bids. I am extremely happy that I found Robert Palacios Masonry. When Bob came the very next day to view the wall and give us a quote, I knew right away that Bob was the right person to rebuild our wall. None of the other 4 contractors knew what type of wall we had, nor what was the best way to restore it. Only Bob recognized right away that we had a "Proto II" wall, which is a light weight, quickly built wall that is built without rebar, and instead held together in a "post-tension" manner using threaded rods, and only mortar between the blocks. Bob told me this type of wall should not have been built on a slope grade, nor had any dirt or trees up against it. A previous owner had put in a 2' tall planter box with trees. Bad idea by them! Bob rebuilt the lower portion of the wall using 8" wide blocks, making it a true retaining wall that extends just above the planter. This saved us from having to demolish and remove our stone planter box. He epoxied in rebar posts on 24" centers inside the 8" blocks, and filled all of them with mortar cement. The top portion was rebuilt using the 4" wide blocks that his crew carefully saved when the wall was dismantled. This made the newly rebuilt top portion blend into the surrounding walls, so it didn't have a "new wall" look that unpleasantly stuck out. We also had a portion of our side wall rebuilt at the same time, and in the same manner I just described. Both look great, and as if they are the original walls. Bob and his crew are top notch professionals that were on time, clean, courteous to our adjacent neighbors, and did the job exactly as agreed upon in the time quoted, and at the price stated. No ups and extras. You could not find a better wall construction, rebuild, and repair company than Robert Palacios Masonry. Would hire them again in a heartbeat. Thanks, Bob!

this was the second job we had Craig and his team do. After a great deal of thought, my husband and I decided to replace an existing brick wall that was not done properly with another brick wall (as opposed to wood or some other material) . We are glad we did. the wall was done right with the required footing (the old wall was not) and joined into the section of existing wall . the price was reasonable and the work completed in good time. It looks great and will be there for many years to come.

This company is amazing. from workmanship,knowledge,friendly and efficiency ! they cleaned up as no one was ever here! my husband and i are so satisfied with the block wall and pavers would HIGHLY recommend there services.

Excellent! Jeff promptly responded within a day and was very patient through numerous scheduling conflicts on our end. He and his crew removed a cracked and leaning10+ft portion of concrete retaining wall and poured a new cement wall with steel supports in its place that was secured to the existing wall with steel supports as well. Additional steel and cement support was added to the rest of the existing wall as well. The job was done in two days and Jeff and his crew were very friendly, professional and neat throughout.

Had a wonderful experience working with Kobe. I interviewed multiple structural engineers before determining to go with Kobe. I He helped me determine if the wall between my kitchen and living room was a supporting vs shear wall. After determining it was a shear wall he drew up plans for me. He showed me how to provide the same shear wall support by making another part of the wall stronger. I appreciate his honesty, directness, and the fact that he is very punctual. The qualityof his work was excellent and I will definitely hire him again for any future project.

It went great!. Joe gave us a good estimate. The work was done in a timely fashion as well as clean up. My mother's back yard had a leaning block wall that needed repair, Actually we had to replace the wall. Joe's suggestions were great and the wall looks fabulous. Joe also repaired a section of her driveway. as well. Would highly recommend Joe and his crew. They are professional, knowledgeable friendly.

The job was more complex because our walls were also textured. Guys did a very good job at patching all the holes and repainting the walls. The guys were on time every day and cleaned up at the end - that was nice.

It went very well. The old wall was torn down, the area was cleaned and the old bricks were removed, the new wall was put up in about a week, the job was done on time promised, and it looks great, we were very pleased.

These guys are THE BEST! Professional, artistic, totally hard-working always with a smile on their faces, on time, respectful - they finished my (very challenging) hard scrape project on time and made artistic suggestions that truly enhanced the design. I’ve had extensive experienced remodeling before and can genuinely say these guys are phenomenal! I can’t wait to do my next project with them. So far so amazing. Owner is very sweet. Very polite and receptive. He has checked on the job site 3-4x’s. His son is just as nice. He’s checked on the job site 2-3x’s both have any assisted in something in our home. Prices were very reasonable. They all wash their hands continuously. They wear masks and do not take them off. All crew members vet extremely receptive and continuously keep me updated. Job site is kept clean. They broomed as they’ve gone along. I cannot wait for the end results. I’m very please with this company and so far would definitely do business and definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a honest hardworking business.

Dan and Jim did an excellent job and were easy to work with on the project. Dan and Jim were always punctual and actually finished the job ahead of schedule. When repairing the front wall, Jim painted the entire wall even though it was not part of the job so that the finished product would look great. I thought their price was very fair - it wasn't the lowest bid I received or the highest. Dan also was very ethical and trustworthy. Some other contractors had suggested that our entire wall needed to be replaced, but Dan told us that the wall was fine. We had no idea, and he could have lied and made a lot more money on the project.
