If you pay in full, your trade-in value is applied as a refund to your original payment method. This happens once we receive your eligible iPad and confirm that the condition matches what you described.

The trade-in process can take up to 2-3 weeks.

For T-Mobile/Sprint, activation can happen directly on your iPad. First, go to settings and scroll to "Cellular Data.” Then select your carrier and follow the prompts. When selecting your plan, T-Mobile/Sprint customers need a plan with a minimum of 10GB of data to be eligible. For Verizon you will need to visit this site and follow the instructions. When selecting a Verizon plan, Unlimited and Unlimited Plus are eligible.
