Construction Masters

Construction Masters did not disappoint us for having them remodel our Beverly Hills home. Moshe, Mickey, and their crews remodeled all seven of our bathrooms and kitchen. They were very prompt in answering all of our questions, followed up with our requests quickly, and always had a great attitude. They were very patient and explained everything about the process. We were very impressed with the detail of their craft. They were also able to incorporate our decoration ideas into their work. The quality of their work is superb. We are very much pleased with the outcome. I could not thank them enough for their great quality work. We have already recommended Construction Masters to our neighbors

Flores Artscape
5.0
Our newly purchased home was completely renovated by the seller, and looked fantastic...with the exception of the backyard (I guess they ran out of money). So after moving in, we hired Flores Artscape to bring the backyard up to par with the rest of our new home. Flores Artscape did an amazing job, were a pleasure to work with, and I plan to re-hire them for a new project on our front yard next year! When choosing our contractor to renovate our yard, we researched dozens of companies, and narrowed our choices down to three to meet and interview on-site. Eric from Flores Artscape impressed us the most with his professionalism, preparedness, and deep knowledge. He had very informative answers to all our questions, and even pushed back on some of our initial ideas--citing ways to save on costs, materials that could work better, or design choices that may be a better fit. That pushback is something we especially appreciated, and was often missing from our other two initial “sales pitch” meetings with the other contractors, who seemed to agree with whatever they thought would make us happy and sign a contract. Once we signed with Flores Artscape, work began very quickly. As new homeowners, this was our first time doing a major renovation project, and we weren’t quite sure what to expect. After all, we’ve all heard horror stories about contractors delaying builds, stopping work halfway for weeks at a time, demanding huge additional costs/charges, etc… I assumed the project would take 2-3 months, with another few weeks of added delay time (especially considering the pandemic, labor shortages, building material shortages, etc…). It turns out all our concerns were completely unwarranted… they estimated the job would be done in 6 weeks, and they were absolutely correct! Throughout the build, the entire Flores Artscape team was incredibly responsive, with emails and text messages often answered within minutes. Any changes to the proposed timeline or schedule were fully communicated in advance, and we felt completely in the loop the entire time. If we ever had any questions or concerns, we never felt like we were being brushed off or met with radio silence. Good communication is key, and the Flores team absolutely delivers here. As with any large renovation project, there are going to be some problems. As happy as we are with the work Flores Artscape did, we do have a complaint about one aspect of our yard. A few weeks after our project finished, our DG (decomposed granite) pathways started showing rather large cracks. Fortunately, even though our project ended weeks prior, Flores Artscape sent someone out to take a look the very next day. Ultimately they had a team of 3 guys come and re-work parts of the pathway within a few days. Great service! However…Unfortunately, we’re still having some issues with the DG pathways. The cracks have come back, and on top of that, recent rainstorms have eroded some fairly deep grooves into the pathways. We haven’t alerted Flores about these issues yet (we’ve been busy around the holidays), but I assume they’ll do their best to fix the problems once we reach out to the team. I’m also not sure if deep erosion grooves in DG pathways is just a normal thing people deal with when it rains heavily…again, first time homeowner…or if it’s an issue with our pathway construction (maybe not enough stabilizers?). Despite some recent hiccups with the DG pathways (which I’m confident will be taken care of), we’re extremely happy with the job Flores Artscape did on our backyard. The fact that we plan to hire them again for our next project for our front yard should tell you exactly how confident we are with their level of service

We just completed our remodel with Future Vision and are walking away happy customers and deeply appreciative of the heart they put into our home and project. For context, this was a mid-sized remodel of 3 bathrooms (1 with a major reconfiguration of the layout), 1 bar, 2 fireplaces, 1 mudroom and recessed lighting throughout the house. This is also our forever home, so quality of work was of utmost importance. This project spanned over 5-6 months. Timing was really driven by us and delays in materials due to the pandemic or changing our minds. There were no delays on Jacob’s side. I had the joy of working with Jacob, our Project Manager, our Designer, Jacob’s team and our architect. When they say customer service and communication are at the center of their values and goals as a company, I do agree. — In terms of customer service, this was always at the center of the project. If it mattered enough to me, Jacob and team would make things happen no matter how small or large. Of course, with all projects with multiple parties, there are competing incentives, but I always felt like we landed at a fair compromise and making me happy was the most important goal of them all. This means a lot to me because over the course of the project we discussed things from them helping me with a surprise water leak from a faulty gutter (not their fault) to me literally marking areas where I wanted even the smallest corner re-grouted and they fulfilled their promise. I also loved shopping with our designer, which were great retail locations they have strong relationships with. — In terms of communication, they are also top-notch. A key reason why I chose 4 Seasons Remodeling & Design over other companies was my first meeting with Jacob. He is a straight shooter and always sticks to his word. This is an art. Jacob always set clear and realistic expectation upfront on what would delay us or add costs to the project. If he promised, he would fix something he would. Jacob and his team were also very available and quick to communicate via chat or phone. I always felt very supported because they always made themselves available. Remodeling your home is an emotional journey, so this is extremely important. — Lastly, I would also say that I walked away feeling like working with a team with “heart.” Jacob’s team became people I enjoyed seeing an interacting with regularly. They are very professional and know that their job is not simply to remodel a house, but that their job is to create a home for a family. I don’t know of a more important calling than this. Thank you Jacob and team for all you did for our family and we look forward to working with you in the future

We wholeheartedly recommend 4 Season Remodeling & design and we are not new customers… but a repeat ones. Jacob and his team did an amazing job with a full redo of our backyard. They were professional, courteous, easy to get along with, and did great work. We found his fees to be very reasonable, and we appreciated his detailed estimate. Here is a list of why we recommend Jacob. 1. Impeccable Design. Jacob referred us to a landscape designer who did a phenomenal job with designing the project. The designer was reasonably priced and responsive to our feedback and edits. 2. Accurate Estimation. After he received our final plans, Jacob provided a detailed line-by-line estimate. No other estimates were as detailed. 3. Phenomenal Crew. Jacob’s crew was professional, courteous, and they finished the project on time. They did a great job with a new retaining wall, new trees, new shrubs, an extension of our patio, new sprinkler zone, drainage, and a zone of artificial turf to support our new swing set. They had clearly done several of these projects in the past. 4. Changes. Jacob and I agreed on several changes through the project (e.g., new sprinkler zone and some additional trees) and the final invoice accurately reflected those changes. We are all excited to enjoy our backyard

We cannot say or write enough good things about Jacob and his company 4 Seasons Remodeling & Design! Jacob was quick to respond during the entire project. He made sure to visit the house at least 3-4 times a week, and his quote was well within our budget. He gave us several remodeling options and provided us with many suggestions while respecting our priorities. When he came to do the actual remodeling work, we were blown away at his vision and professionalism. He prepped our house with great attention to all the details (small or big), kept the dust to a minimum, asked us to join a walkthrough at the end of the work, and also made sure that his employees cleaned each day before they left to their homes. We had Jacob remodeled our Kitchen, 2 bathrooms and repair several cracks from the foundation. Jacob took extra time to explain to us how he repaired it and even took care to match the house paint texture. We are so grateful and impressed by Jacob and his spirit of excellence. Well done. We’ll be using him for future projects

We contacted ROC construction after talking too many other contractors. ROC gave us the best price for what we wanted to do. ROC started the project when they said they would, always showed up on time and cleaned up every night after they were finished. Daniel {last name removed} answer all of questions and concerns along the way. Since our project was during Covid, they followed all the CDC guidelines and made everyone feel safe while they were working on our addition. They finished the project on time and on budget. I would highly recommend ROC constitution for any of you construction needs

Mike is hands down the best contractor we have ever hired. The previous owners of our house had done some beautiful and expensive hardscaping and landscaping probably 40 years ago, but it was all badly in need of renovation when we bought the house a few years ago. We wanted to restore it all and make a few improvements rather than start over, and Mike was fully on board with that approach from the moment he arrived. All I had to do was show him what needed to be addressed, and he immediately knew the right way to handle everything, including how to address all our concerns about pitch and drainage, since our property slopes down from the street. He restored our property and made it even more beautiful that we imagined it could be. In particular, he had the idea of covering our existing concrete walkways and steps with blue stone instead of demolishing and pouring new concrete--it cost about the same, is gorgeous, and goes perfectly with house and front yard area. But everything he did looks like it was meant to be here--nothing looks like an add-on. In addition to his great design ideas, Mike was very engaged and responsive. Not only does he have a great crew, but he was at our house almost every day checking their work, having them fix details that weren't to his standards, and walking me through what was done and what would be done next. And he always responded quickly to calls and texts to address any questions or concerns we had. This was a huge investment for us and needed to be done right, and Mike did exactly that. We were in very safe hands with Mike and recommend him without reservation

We started with an arborist to remove three very large pine trees in a row with about four feet between them. They were in an area separated from our lawn by a concrete curb on one side, fencing on two sides, and our house with a gate and short path on the last side. When they were done, the area had some serious bumps, with the concrete curb rather elevated and the house gutter disconnected and the path indistinguishable. We got our shovels and tried to smooth out the area, but discovered the arborist had left some large roots. So we called Bragar Landscaping to give us an estimate on what it would take to smooth out the area, convert the path into a walkway, provide a draining arrangement for the gutter, and plant some greenery. We showed him what we had found as roots, and Ken provided a reasonable estimate requiring about three days of work by his team.

They started work in two days, very much appreciated by us as time was rather critical. But whoa?, quickly their efforts discovered that the arborists had not only left some roots, but had left very large tree stumps with very large root clusters, much bigger than what we had found. It was clear this was not going to be a quick and easy job. We reviewed the situation with Ken, looking at what they found and discussing different approaches to fixing. We agreed on taking out as much rooting as needed to return the concrete curb to its natural form, to enable reusing broken concrete sidewalk material to form an attractive walkway as a path, and then to build a planter (also reusing broken sidewalk concrete material) with enough depth to enable a Crape Myrtle smallish tree to grow where the pine trees had been. Removing the roots was very hard work, but the work did proceed and the broken concrete path was laid, the planter was built, and the bush/tree was planted along with some supporting greenery. There was no break in the work, although it took an extra week to get done. Ken got all the materials and plants, kept us informed along the way, talked about options and problems as they occurred, and overall made a bad situation tolerable by being willing to work with us to find mutually acceptable solutions, including how much of the additional cost we each would bear. The final result is very attractive and we are happy that a surprisingly bad situation was made into a good result. We will be happy to work with Bragar Landscaping again.

Messinio masonry had previously built a retaining wall for us. It was superb work. So when we needed concrete stairs repaired I called Joe again. As expected, great job. The thing that separates Joe from many contractors is he is doing the work. He doesn't just have his assistants work while he "supervises." He is doing it. He has a lifetime of skill that he brings to the job. He's smart, talented, always on time and delivers what he has promised. I would recommend him to anyone
