The Air University Registrar plans, directs, and monitors all registrar functions within Air University (AU) and represents the institution in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the academic records for all students. The Registrar is responsible for the enrollment for AU’s individual units and tracks resident and nonresident education through AU schools and oversees the proper documentation of Professional Military Education within the personnel system.  Our mission is to provide key services which align with the standards developed by the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admission Officers and support the retention of Air University’s academic accreditation and its standing as an exemplar in educating officers, enlisted, and civilian leaders.

Note: Within Air University, the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) and the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) have separate registrar offices.


The Air University has implemented a mandatory service desk for all requests.

**The service desk is a secure system for use in providing PII.

**First time users must create an account.

**If you cannot access the AU Service Desk go to www.airuniversity.af.edu/Contact-Us, in the Contact Form Recipient list select Air University Education Support Services, complete the information, and select Send Message. AU Registrar personnel cannot assist with access to the AU Service Desk.

Transcripts

Air University (not CCAF) transcripts are available for all students who have completed courses/programs with Air University.

     • Submit your AU transcript request via the AU Service Desk and assign to the AU Registrar.
     • Provide all postal addresses for where your transcript is to be mailed. There is no fee for AU transcripts; we will provide as many as needed.
     • Specify how many transcripts you need. We provide one transcript per official envelope.
     • Electronic copy of transcript is only available via the AU Service Desk. Specify in the Remarks section that you would like an electronic copy. Otherwise, we will mail transcripts via USPS.

For third-party requests, please attach to your request the release of information document signed by the student.
          
Attach other documents such as lawyer and medical school documents to your request and specify in the Remarks section if the document is to be mailed with the transcript.

To request your AU transcript, go to AU Service Desk (https://auservicedesk.af.edu) and submit your request to the AU Registrar.
          • AU Registrar personnel will respond to you via the service desk.
          • Please DO NOT submit multiple tickets for the same request.

CCAF (Community College of the Air Force) transcripts are available from CCAF. This requires that a separate request be made to CCAF. Submit your CCAF transcript request via the AU Service Desk and assign to the CCAF.

Certificates

The following five certificates are provided from the AU Registrar office: ALS DL, NCOA DL, SNCOA DL, SOS DL, ACSC DL.
     
• For all other course completion certificates/diplomas you must contact the school you attended; the AU Registrar personnel cannot assist with other certificates.     
     
The five certificates listed above are provided only electronically via your request in the AU Service Desk.
      • If you need a printed certificate specify in the Remarks section that you would like a printed copy and provide the postal address. Certificates are mailed via USPS.

To request your certificate, go to AU Service Desk (https://auservicedesk.af.edu) and submit your request to the AU Registrar.

Admission into Air University Degree Programs

Master’s Degree Programs

International Military Students: Please refer to your official guidance regarding admission requirements for TOEFL and foreign credential evaluation. Please note there is no waiver option for the TOEFL or foreign credential evaluation requirements.
     
TOEFL: The ETS TOEFL Institution Code for Air University is 9069.
          
Foreign Credential Evaluation: The agency must submit the evaluation result to Air University.
          • Air University does not accept the TOEFL Essentials test.  You must take the TOEFL iBT or TOEFL Home test.
          
Electronic result may be sent from the agency to [email protected]. (This email is used only for receiving official transcripts  from education institutions).

USAF active, guard, reserve: The AU Registrar can verify your bachelor’s degree and you will be fully admitted upon arrival to your designated school. No action needed on your part.

     • Air University requires an official transcript of your bachelor’s degree be provided directly from the university to the AU Registrar. We do not accept student copy.
     • Electronic transcripts may be sent from the university to [email protected]. (This email is used only for receiving official transcripts from education institutions).

Civilian Associate Degree Program

Air University requires an official high school transcript or GED document be provided directly from the school/GED agency to the AU Registrar. Please do not send diploma/certificate. The official transcript is required.

Enrollment into Officer/Enlisted PME Distance Learning Programs

For assistance with all PME distance learning programs (enrollment, disenrollment, status of your program, computer assistance, etc.), submit a request via the AU Service Desk and assign your ticket to the Global College for PME (GCPME).  

**All enlisted and officer PME programs are in a different system to which AU Registrar personnel have no access and cannot assist.
