Shipping & Delivery

In response to COVID-19, our delivery partners are offering contactless delivery. Drivers may issue a one time password to the mobile phone number provided at time of purchase to satisfy the signature requirement. And, as always, delivery will be fast and free.

Delivery to certain PIN codes is currently unavailable due to local COVID-19 restrictions.

Delivery options

Delivery is free on all orders placed on apple.com.

Express Delivery

Express delivery is available on in-stock items. Items will automatically ship as they become available. Some items may ship separately to ensure you receive them as quickly as possible. A signature may be required for delivery. For prepaid orders, the courier will issue a One Time Password to the phone number provided at time of checkout. Orders can’t be shipped to P.O. boxes.

Scheduled Delivery Options

Available for certain PIN codes; you can choose a scheduled delivery method for each item on your order

  • Express Delivery (Free)
    1 - 2 days after shipping
  • Pre-10.30 am Delivery
    1 - 2 days after shipping, before 10.30 am
  • Pre-12 pm Delivery
    1 - 2 days after shipping, delivered before 12 pm

We keep you informed

Shortly after you place your order, you’ll receive an e-mail to confirm that it is being processed. Once your order ships, you’ll receive an email and text message containing your order details, courier and tracking information. If ordering as a gift, you may wish to provide your own email address and not the address of the recipient.

Make sure that the email address and telephone number on your order is correct. If you do not receive the emails, check your spam folder.

Text Notifications

Once your order ships, we'll send you a text message that includes your order number and a link to tracking information. You will also receive text messages on the day of delivery, and after your item has been delivered, depending upon your shipping method and courier. You may receive between 1-4 text messages per item on your order. Texts are sent between 6:00 am and 10:00 pm.

Changing text message preferences

You can edit your mobile phone number at any time by logging into your account and editing the Shipment Notification preferences for your order.

Delivery date information

The items on your order will be shipped as soon as they become available.

  • For example, items that show “Shipped: Within 24 hrs” are estimated to be shipped within 24 hours.
  • Personalising items in your order takes additional time to prepare and will increase the time it takes for them to be shipped and delivered.

You can find your delivery estimate on your Order Confirmation email and online by clicking Account at the top of the page and selecting Track a Delivery.

All delivery estimates are business days unless otherwise stated.

Changes to your order

Once your order has been prepared for shipping or has shipped, we may be unable to change the delivery address. If you have any questions, please contact Apple Store Customer Service.

If you have yet to receive your shipment notification email you may be able to update your details online via our Order Status website. If you are unable to modify your delivery details here, please contact Apple Store Customer Service.

Tracking your order

You can track the status of your order online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by clicking Account at the top of the page and select Track an Order, or click here. You can also view the current status of your order, view the items you ordered, and see estimated delivery times.

Depending on the status of your order, you can:

  • Change your email address
  • Change your delivery address
  • Cancel your order or an item from your order
  • Print a billing document
  • Initiate the replacement of an order or an item from your order.

Delivery Information

For prepaid orders, the courier will issue a One-Time Password to the phone number provided at time of checkout, as well as requiring a signature upon delivery. The courier will ask for this OTP code when delivering the order. They will be unable to complete delivery without this code.

If your order is being delivered to someone else, you may want Apple to let them know it’s on its way. During checkout, simply enter the recipient's email address in the "Email Address (optional)" field within the ship-to section. The email they receive will only display product, delivery and tracking information. They will also receive delivery updates.

If you have selected Payment on Delivery as your preferred method of payment, on the day of delivery, the courier will contact the recipient to schedule the delivery time. Make sure the recipient is able to answer the phone number that was specified when placing the order, as well as receive the One-Time Password.

If your order is being delivered to a business address, our courier will deliver to a mailroom or delivery point. If you provide a home address which has a reception or concierge service, our courier will deliver to the concierge. In both cases, for prepaid orders the courier will issue a One-Time Password to the phone number provided at time of checkout, as well as requiring a signature upon delivery.

If the courier cannot complete the delivery or the recipient cannot accept the order three times in a row, the goods will be returned to Apple and refunded to the original method of payment.

Problems with your order

Missed deliveries

Courier Delivery: If you are not at home when the courier attempts to deliver your order, the courier will leave a card. You can contact the courier directly for a new delivery appointment during working hours at a suitable date and even change your delivery address. If your order has passed the scheduled delivery date in your shipment notification email, please contact Apple Store Customer Service.

Damaged or defective orders

If you have received your order and find that it is damaged, please call Apple Store Customer Service.

In case of any damage to your delivery, Apple will be in direct contact with the courier to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. We will make every effort to contact you and keep you informed of the progress of our investigation and, where appropriate, deliver a replacement.

If you're having trouble with your new Apple product or believe it is defective, please call AppleCare immediately.

Missing Invoices

Within 2-3 days of your order being delivered, you should receive an official Apple invoice by e-mail. If you do not receive this invoice or if you require an additional copy for your records, you may contact Apple Store Customer Service or print your receipt on our Order Status website.

Cancellations

Cancellations

If your order has not yet been shipped, you can cancel your order on our online Order Status website. A refund will be issued to the original payment method.
