Robert Jasso Painting
We had a new, high-quality redwood fence installed in our back yard and decided we wanted it stained versus being left as redwood. The goal was to have it blend more into the surroundings and help enlarge the feeling our small city yard. Looking through Angie’s List and other online services sites we narrowed down our choices to a few contractors. After meeting with Robert, understanding his appreciation for detail and his knowledge we chose him for staining our fence. Instead of blindly doing whatever we said, Robert explained the tradeoffs of our options and we mutually worked together on the best option. As a result we have a nicely Deep Forest Green fence that makes our backyard look wonderful! Further he made the right choices of materials for our deck and metal spindles while others would have not have paid attention to that detail and used the same stain. Robert and his team paid attention to our neighbor’s constraints, were quiet and communicated promptly by phone & email. Also, Robert was nice enough to do some touch-up work in the front of the house for no extra charge. We are looking forward to working with Robert again in the future!

Dvpro Painting
We hired Dvpro Painting to paint our house and stain the deck. The work was excellent and our home looks fantastic. CUSTOM PAINTING
We were disappointed for a couple reasons: * The paint on the concrete began to peel almost immediately. * The put a paint, not stain on the redwood deck, which peeled excessively after first rains and now prevents absorption of stain; adds to future maintenance costs. We were very explicit about stain-only. * The paint on doors near the weather stripping is peeling Overall, we feel that the quality of the materials used was poor. The work was covered under warranty, and they did return the next season and try again. The decking is a lost cause now, I guess -- all the paint is again peeling after 1 season.

Pacific Coast Painting
Dave and the crew from Pacific Coast Painting did a great job repainting the exterior and re-staining the decks of our house in Pacifica. Dave's bid was the most comprehensive and very competitive. With coastal Summer fog, work didn't start until mid-September (as Dave had warned me in March!): scaffolding went up 9/13 and work was completed on 10/2. Painting is all about the prep work -- Dave knows it and his guys spent a lot of time and effort scraping and power washing and thoroughly caulking around all windows and joints before the primer coat went on. They replaced T-111 and window trim as needed and repaired dry rot where they found it. Shout out to Dell for great work! We have some areas prone to leaks and Dave spent extra time working on those. When the rains come, I know I can call him if there are any leaks. The house and decks look great and I know the house is well protected against the coming Winter storms.

Kelly and his Team 1 did an overall amazing job. He helped us choose colors, offered useful advice when asked, started and ended on time and honored his exact quote from months before the work was done. Kelly also has a follow-up team to come back to complete anything missed or forgotten the firs time through. Because of the acoustic removal, there was a lot clean-up we did even though Kelly's team spend an entire day cleaning up after their work. We left the week they did their work

Outstanding on every front. Job completed in 3.5 days as promised, the baseboards painted thru the entire house look terrific, all 3 rooms had a different color and Selena the team lead and crew were meticulous in all of the work they did. The fixes that were needed after a previous contractor painted (terribly) after popcorn removal were fixed with all the attention to detail required. We will use Matrix Painting again to remove master bedroom popcorn ceiling and to power wash and stain our deck. Ryan's bid wasn't the cheapest of the 4 estimates we received, but the work done was exceptional. Very professional, responsive and respectful of our home . Really glad we found Matrix/Ryan and his team!

Patrick and the crew were awesome. They were very efficient and they did a really good job cleaning up. They also did a good job with caulking and doing some needed repairs on the front porch and windows. The paint they use (the Aura line) is top notch- I used it when I painted my interior. My house looks great! I would definitely recommend!
