A few small flakes of snow falling on Plymouth Rock, MA during calm before the storm! What a beautiful place with the harbor so smooth. We are heading to Cape Cod to position for #blizzard coverage

(1) Example of why I am holding my ground in PHL (3-6) and NYC (6-12). The upper low is locking off too late for PHL and at the last minute for NYC. You will note the EURO does not lock off (its very close though). EURO (left), GFS (upper right) & NAM (lower right) do lock off

STATEMENT FROM BERNIE RAYNO (LOL, I always wanted to write that): I have seen this many times in the past. You ride the NAM on this, it isn't perfect and will likely be overdone in some areas, but overall it will out perform the GFS and EURO. Twitter live at 5:45 am.

The latest NAM holds with the snow max over Southeast MA and Cape Cod! #Blizzard Sandwich is the target for now. However, in my limited experience with these storms, I know they are always in for a last second surprise just like a hurricane. Stay tuned for live updates

Accidentally reserved my flight for February 11. No wonder it was so inexpensive! Luckily was able to pivot.

Eye-like feature with snowfall totals possible pushing 3 feet across southeast Mass

The latest AFD from @NWSBoston is one for the books. It has everything you need. Blizzard condition, insane snowfall rates, and even potential "eye-like features". New England is certainly in for one wicked storm.

I plan to chase this bomb cyclone like a hurricane and remain as mobile as possible but always within range of shelter and with winter survival gear. Will keep vehicle pointed into the wind.

Latest Euro wobbles a bombed-out cyclone closer to CAPE COD on Saturday afternoon/evening. Team Dominator is targeting the tip of Cape Cod for the intense wind bag portion of this nor'easter. We will be deploying a network of Gravitrons to sample gravity waves from bombogenesis.

Looks like Gizmo is pushing for the 3 miler this morning. Slow and steady but the distance is what matters.

It won’t be too long before all storm chasing live streams are in 360 including viewer changing camera angles etc. Storm chasing is such a new community that tech innovations often lag a little, but it’s coming.

A year ago, soccer leagues leaned on Electronic Arts’ soundtracks to recreate fan noise in stadiums emptied by COVID-19. This time around, the action is headed to the metaverse. Nay, the Netaverse. @BrooklynNets
