  I want to start with the fact that this review is over a year old and with time I remain very happy with the services I was provided. Overall Danny was very professional. Quality of work was very good. The price was fair. Danny stands by his work and now I suspect it is cause it was done right from the start. This job was extensive requiring tearing down the shower to what studs were salvageable and concrete. New custom cabinets, countertops, vessel sinks, standalone tub, lighted mirrors, added heater and exhaust, as well as additional lighting. Of course all the tile was done throughout and toilet replace. He even made a custom very solid barn style door where none existed into our master bedroom. After interviewing 6 contractors for this job I am glad we chose D.R. and he is the first person we call when we are ready for our kitchen remodel. BTW he helped us with obtaining financing. He took disbursement of funds based on work completion level all spelled out contractually. Have recommended him to any of our friends who have asked

  I am thoroughly pleased with the job done by DR Construction. Danny was very helpful from the start. He mixed colors to come up with the perfect shade I wanted. He and his crew are very dependable and competent. They installed the new light fixtures and ceiling fans and even spray painted all doorknobs to make them look new. We had a bit of a problem with the front door but Danny made sure his crew worked on it until he and I were both satisfied with the result. I was very impressed with the attention to detail every step of the way. The house was new when I bought it and it looks better now than it did then

  I'm normally hesitant with contractors in my area. I have used several and Danny has been the best by far. We had several issues with our homes exterior. Danny came and looked over everything and provided me with honest feedback, price estimate, approximate start and end date. What stood out the most with him was his professionalism throughout all of our interactions. His staff follows his professionalism and takes the time to ensure every detail is taken care of. To me what makes DR Construction stand out is they take pride in their work and work on your home as if they are working on their own. It's refreshing to see a business and it's owner go the extra mile to ensure their customers satisfaction

  Utmost professionalism and knowledge. Explained every option and went over every detail of work to be done. Contact was maintained through out the entire project and regular on site visits were made. End of shift clean up was spectacular. I never had to worry about nails or screws in the drive way or street. Considering work was done on a tri level home with 13 windows and a roofed deck there was a considerable amount of detail work. The house looks better than when I first purchased it and I know the work that was completed will last. I could not be happier and would not hesitate to recommend Phillips / Hoover

  Phillips/Hoover, Inc.did AN EXCELLENT JOB! My husband and I were very impressed at how well they paid attention to every detail. They arrived on time everyday, and cleaned up daily. Robert and Sammy explained every step of the job as it progressed and were available for any questions. Nothing was taken down or changed without prior approval from owner. After the work was completed, they touched up painting inside the house (to areas worked on) and re-installed all blinds that had been removed in order to replace the windows. During the removal of the old windows they took great care in protecting the areas around the "demolition sites" from damage. We will definitely use their services again if needed and highly recommend this company to anyone who wants a professional job done well. We feel that the quality of work and attention to detail exceeded our expectations

  The House: a 35 year old, tri-level townhouse that had been painted twice - once when it was built, and again shortly after I bought it 10 years ago. The Need: an honest, through inspection of the exterior - from top to bottom - to identify any repairs that needed to be done, in addition to the painting. The Hunt for a "Painter": I read all the reviews on Angie's List, and looked at photographs posted on Facebook of different projected completed by Phillips Hoover. I also contacted the BBB. ALL the reports were glowing. So I made the call. Robert Phillips and I talked for 30 minutes or so and set up a date for his crew to go to the house and give it a once-over. The Inspection: Robert Phillips and his crew did a through inspection of the exterior of the house before developing the estimate. Once the estimate was ready, Mr. Phillips and I met so he could explain what needed to be done and approximately how long it would take to complete. It was a match. The Work: WOW! The crew was at the house every morning at 8, and I got an update on the work every afternoon. Since I run an agency, most of our communications were by email and/or cell, which only speaks to the level of professionalism of Mr. Phillips and his crew. I loved arriving home each day to see what had been completed. The work was completed exactly as described, and a final walk-through was done prior to wrapping-up. At that time, Mr. Phillips identified several areas that required touch ups, which his crew did before the final payment way made. The place looks brand new. And, yes, all the holiday gifts are going in the "kitty" to pay for the next project - rehabbing the inside of my house. I look forward to working with Robert Phillips and his folks again in the coming year

  It went swimmingly. I was so pleased to meet Robert and his men. They were all delightful. They prep'ed the house, power washed it, painted it. Came back and puttied the windows and painted. Robert came back over and checked the work and had the guys do touch up as needed. They cleaned up after themselves. I am so tickled with the outcome. I will use these guys for everything that they do. I'm really sorry the job is finished. I enjoyed having all of them around
