  My husband and I recently purchased a home with a deck overlooking wetlands. We quickly realized we needed to turn the deck into a screened-in porch because of mosquitoes. We contacted Stumps and were blown away by the professionalism from our first encounter to the final details upon completion. Anthony, Mark, Jon and their incredible design and construction teams made this a seamless and trouble-free process all the way through. They were very knowledgeable, courteous, respectful, punctual, and accommodating. We now have a beautiful screened-in deck with ceiling fan, recessed lighting, and lighting on railing. The final product exceeded our expectations. Their design team determined we could have a cambered truss and, in fact, recommended it. So they reached out to us and offered it at no extra cost. This was a remarkable gesture. We have worked with many contractors over the years and Stumps Decks and Porches is heads and shoulders above any that we have ever worked with, hands down. Kudos to this company for being a role model in professionalism. We have recommended them to neighbors and get many compliments on the screened-in porch. It looks as if it was built with the house

  Not only was the job completed sooner than anticipated, all the people used were extremely pleasant, hard working, responsive to questions and brainstorming of ideas, and simply did great work. Nevin, the owner, was a great supervisor. He came almost daily to see how the job was progressing, see if we had any questions or problems, and to bring us up-to-date on the scheduling. He was also easily accessible if we had further questions. Even prior to us signing a contract, Nate, the salesman, encouraged us to get multiple bids to compare costs and designs. Our feeling that C&amp;S was an honest, ethical business was reinforced by that suggestion, despite our prior knowledge to do that. He got a design plan and contract proposal to us in a timely fashion and was always available for any questions. There was never pressure, just pleasant give and take throughout the entire project. We can't say enough about how good C&amp;S was to work with. Although the cost was slightly higher than another contractor, one who was less available for discussion, we felt the difference in presentation and the strong positive impressions we had were worth that difference

  Jesse did a wonderful job! I provided him with info about three new toilets I purchased. He provided me with a very reasonable offer to remove old toilets and install new ones. Jesse is easy to communicate with and understood our needs. He also made some part recommendations to better complete this job. He is knowledgeable in many areas. We are having him come back in three days to do some work on bathroom sinks, install bathroom fixtures-fan/light units, and install above the range microwave. We will be looking to hire him for some more projects this spring and summer.
