With 53 million active users in the UK, social media has become the go-to for communication and self-expression, as well as a platform for securing work. With the ‘Great Resignation’ driving people to look for new employment opportunities in the New Year, social media activity could be harming career prospects, with a third of Brits (32%) reporting this to be the case, according to new data from Kaspersky. This number rises to almost half (47%) of those at graduate or entry level. In addition, 40% worry that their historic online presence could have an adverse effect on their future employment.

According to a recent Kaspersky survey, 28% of managed service providers (MSPs) reported that a massive supply chain attack on an MSP software provider, revealed in December 2020, had affected their organisation in some way.
