Fabulous females seeking female friends over 50 for events

\*\*\*Seeking wonderful women who like to socialize, wine and dine, go to live music and other shows with women friends. If you are looking for great friends and fun times, you will fit right in. This is a woman’s only group. Quite a few men have tried to join and I have attempted to drop them. If we are going to a show, I always set the event time for an hour earlier so we can chat before the show starts. Of course, you can arrive at a time that is good for each of you. \*\*\*\*\*Membership dues have been raised to $5 for women who have not paid yet or who want to join. Effective July 1st. I have been trying to figure out how to edit this statement and finally figured it out. Dues are annual and can be paid at PayPal under the “friends & family” option or thru Zelle, at your bank, both at 973-202-8298. Will see if I can add Venmo. I purchase tix to shows mostly at discount prices so that we are assured of sitting together. All tickets must be paid for when I post a paid event. I have a good relationship with City Winery Concierge and they help me get seats for shows that I pay for directly thru The Winery. I have websites where I can get discount tix for their shows. Even though I don’t know where our seats will be, we all sit together and I have never gotten bad seats. If I get tix thru The Winery, I don’t pay a service fee as I buy an annual CW membership that gives me advance notice of shows as well. City Winery has no food/drink minimum. Most other places do. Before Omicron, I was getting discount tix to Birdland and a lot of us attended great jazz shows there. I keep my eye out for new discount tix daily. I am also looking for free shows, like the 2 art shows I have set up. I only set up shows for later in the day/ evenings due to medical issues that I have. For any further info please message me. \*\*\*A lot of women have been canceling from attending an event until the minute or next to last minute. I am keeping track of these women and if you cancel last minute without good reason 2 times you will be placed on probation. Other groups do this as well.

Ethnic Dining in Queens and Beyond!

Flushing, NY

Ethnic Dining in Queens and Beyond!

It’s time to eat all the ethnic cuisines that Queens and other boroughs have to offer. Members will eat in a family style setting and share the total food costs plus tax and tips. The only exception is that you pay for your own drinks and dessert. This group is for adventurous people. I can’t guarantee that the food is up to your liking. Covid virus is real and it could be risky to eat with a group of members especially indoor. Please be aware that you are eating at your own risk. Proof of Vaccination and ID will be checked by the Host of each event. This group is not suitable for serious vegetarians or picky eaters. If you don't want to have your pictures taken during the event and have them post in the group's meetup album, please feel free to let the host or the organizer know so that we can honor your request. Thanks. \*\*\*GROUP RULES\*\*\* (These rules are necessary to keep the group running smoothly): 1\. No\-Shows: If you receive Three No\-Shows\, you will be removed from the group\. So please change your RSVP if your plans change\. Starting 1/1/2014\, you must change your RSVP by the RSVP deadline \(two days before the scheduled event by no later than 3 pm\)\. If you cancel after the deadline\, regardless if you are on the attend list or wait list\, then it will count as a no show\. Also\, 3 latenesses \(more than 15 min late to an event\) = 1 No\-Show\. 2\. If you get move up from the wait list to the attending list\, you are expected to attend the dinner\. Wait list members\, please don't cancel your RSVP wait list after the RSVP deadline even though you know for sure that you are not going to get move up to the attending list\. You will be marked as no show if you cancel after RSVP deadline\. Dinner Organizers will not move any wait listed members to attending list if it is less than 24 hours from the scheduled dinner\. So no worries\! 3\. You are required to pay for your share of the total bill even if you did not get to eat all of the different dishes ordered due to your own lateness or other reasons\. 4\. To reduce confusion and time wasted from looking through menus\, the Organizers ultimately choose the dishes from the menu for us to consume; you may\, however\, give some suggestions of dishes before each meetup dinner menu is posted\, but these suggestions would not be guaranteed\. Please look at the dishes that we listed at each meetup carefully BEFORE you sign up\. 5\. $2\.00 per person meetup cost will be added on each event\. 6\. This meet up group is only for its members\. If you want to bring a guest\, please have him or her join the group\. Couples: Please join separately \(individually\)\. 7\. All organizers reserve the right to give priority to some members\, when necessary\. We would like to give all members a better chance of attending our events instead of having the same members attend the repeated events\. All organizers also reserve the right to wait\-list those members who habitually change their rsvps from yes to no\, less than 24 hrs before the 3pm/2 days event deadline\. 8\. No solicitation to members\! 9\. It is a requirement for all members to have a recognizable face photo on their personal profile with this group at all times\. No photo = removal from the group\. 10\. The Meetup Organizers reserves the right to excuse members who earned enough credits \(attended at least 85 dinners\) to be absent from dinner after RSVP deadline during certain circumstances\. However this privilege will NOT be allow to be abused\. Your 3 no shows will have to be used first before we decide to give you the excuse\. Thanks in advance for your cooperation! Please feel free to let us know if you have any restaurants for us to try.  \~ Andie, Elyse, Jeff, JoeSuit & Khoi Organizers of the group.

Genuine Friends 50-70+ Long Island Ladies Group

Garden City, NY

Genuine Friends 50-70+ Long Island Ladies Group

**Please be vaccinated to protect us all.** **We plan a variety of fun events on LI and beyond - anything from eating to adventure. Do you remember when you were a kid and had friends you could always count on - a friendly face in a crowd of acquaintances? Well, that's what we are about. Genuine friendships with others whom you would love to have to your own home - a group of genuine friends.** **Find people whom you are always happy to see - ones who share your interests and who won't cancel at the last minute or be a no show when they have something better to do. The age limits are just a suggestion - if you are a happy, active older person, this is for you too. Please be able to use a computer/android or iphone, and pay by Zelle.** **Our events include brunches, book discussions, friendly chat, travel near and far, crafts, adventures, NYC, local theater, gardens, concerts, canasta, keeping fit, even star gazing or anything of interest to you and a few others. Most events take place in Nassau. This group is not suitable for those from mid to eastern Suffolk, Manhattan or Brooklyn.** **Places will become available only as people leave the group or are inactive, or no shows at several events. I do remove inactive members on a regular basis to keep the group filled with only women interested in building real friendships. Please understand that not all membership requests are approved.** **We do have admission standards. You are welcome to join if you are 50+, if you don't have a pattern of no shows with other groups, are free of drama, and if you can bring a smile to the our next meetup. If you are normal, sane, and secure, you'll get in! Please have a real, recognizable photo of your face when you join, and a valid email address. If you are a cat, puddle or flower, you won't get in. We want to be able to recognize you at an event, and greet you as a friend.** **We do post pictures of group events on Meetup and Facebook, so when you join, you are agreeing to be photographed.** **Join my other group: [http://www.meetup.com/Travel-Friends-Near-and-Far/](http://www.meetup.com/Travel-Friends-Near-and-Far/)** **Our annual dues are $20 per year collected annually (year ends on April 14), paid at your first meetup, or by Zelle. To maintain your membership, you must attend at least one event every two months.**
