This is the first home we have that has a sprinkler system so we were unaware of what needed to be done or what a backflow was.     Ben was the plumber and he quickly determined that the hot water heater was shot, and that the old hook ups had to upgraded to meet current building codes, he included parts and extras in his quote to me and deducted 10% Angie’s List discount to the bill. I appreciated his clarity about what was needed and why, and his quote was extremely competitive with others I talked to. I approved the quote, and he went to work. Like most jobs, it presented problems that were not seen, and Ben just went ahead and corrected them, cleaned up accumulated dirt, installed new gas/water valves, water and gas lines, a collection pan underneath the tank. He had to make an extra trip back to the shop for parts that he did not have on his truck, and got tied up in Friday night 1604 traffic, so he did not finish until 10:30pm. He hauled off the old unit and left the area cleaner than he found it. No complaints, no extra charges, just friendly quality service and a professional install, and this I know because i am in the construction business and rental property owner. I will put Mr. Plumber at the top of my call list the next time I have to have plumbing work done on my properties

    Excellent all the way around. The new outdoor tankless heater replaced an outdoor tank heater and used the existing piping for the most part. I did the demo of the old w. heater enclosure which brought the cost down a couple hundred dollars. Marc was very professional and did excellent work. Ms. Sam was wonderful to work with as well.     One of the best plumbing experience I’ve encountered! Tim, the staff and the owner bent over backwards to assist and make customer was happy. I was recently notified that a foundation repair may be a problem on my rental property. I was told by the inspection company that I needed to have a hydrostatic pressure test performed on my sewer line to test for any water leaks. I was given an estimate through the foundation company for $1800 since, according to that company, the cleanout pipe prevented the inflated ball to block the line on the property and would need to be completely replaced in order to test the pressure. I contacted Tim at Ajax Plumbing for an estimate and explained the issue about the cleanout pipe. The service was scheduled immediately, and their plumber was sent to do the work. As it turned out my cost was a quarter of what the other plumber had estimated. I was extremely pleased with the courtesy, speed, and honesty with which this repair was handled. I now can count Ajax Plumbing Company as my new go-to plumber. My Real Estate Agent also said she would use them too & recommended to her company too! Thank Ajax Plumbing and their excellent staff

    After a major local company quoted me hundreds more, I turned to Angie's List and found Ray Ray's Plumbing. (For some reason I could not find the business again when I went back to write this review.) While some other companies REFUSE to give a ballpark quote, even when you know exactly what needs to be done, Ray quoted me a reasonable range. It ended up being on the low end, even though he could've charged a lot more. Great service from an honest plumber

    We had a stubborn clog in our kitchen sink between the disposal side and the T-joint above the trap on the main drain. No amount of Draino could budge the clog. At the time of the call we weren't sure where in the plumbing this clog was located and for what reason. So we called Frank and he was able to come out the same day. He gave us a 12pm - 2pm window, but actually called at 11:30 to see if it was okay if he came out early! Great! He got right to work, he was polite and professional and very informative. When he finished, my wife had a question about a dripping toilet. He looked at it and gave us some great advice that ended up saving us a lot of money. Bottom line is that Frank is fair, reliable and someone you can trust to do the job for a fair price and not try and take advantage of you. Other plumbers were asking much more for the same work. I'll be calling Frank for all of our future plumbing needs
