Vital Restoration is a quality outfit. From the person who answered the phone to the workers who came out to dip the job, everyone I spoke to was courteous and professional. I had some old water damage that had become moldy and needed to be taken care of. Vital had someone out to give me an estimate within an hour. We scheduled the job right there on the spot. I got my dates mixed up scheduled it a day earlier than I thought and they accommodated me. They showed up at the time they said they would and got started right away. The two workers worked quickly and thoroughly and were done in just a few hours. I highly recommend this company.

The entire process was almost painless. I was met at 5AM by a knowledgeable engineer who got to work immediately. He was met by two others soon after and they did not stop moving furniture, removing excess water and setting up drying equipment until the afternoon. Restoration 9-1-1 was pleasant, professional and courteous every time they were on site. The inside staff handled the insurance claims and process without much needed from either tenant. I would use them again and have recommended to others.

Contained and removed excess water from all areas of a 2-unit (3 story) condo. Then dried and repaired/replaced the walls, ceiling and floors of affected areas.

The supply hose from the toilet downstairs broke and came up loose and was spraying water in the house all day. So, when we came to the house, there was water in the entire apartment. They came right away, sucked all the water out and then brought in all these machines, the humidifiers and blowers. They ran for about 4 days and the apartment was like being in Arizona. It was hot and dry. We moved upstairs, we couldn't stay down there because it was 90 degrees and no humidity. But, we haven't had any problems with mold so it worked. They didn't have to do any construction, whereas, my girlfriend's sister had a flood in her apartment and she didn't do this, so they had to replace half the sheet-rock, when they could have just soaked it up like a sponge. It was covered by insurance and they gave us all the paperwork.

Their rep observed the water damage under my kitchen sink and sent me an estimate. Their workers arrived on time to remove the water damaged cabinetry, taking extreme precuations over the possiility of mold. It turned out there was no mold, but they removed all the supporting framework beneath the sink> It turned out they didn't do restoration work, but told me they had a contractor they worked with and would have him contact me. This was on a Friday morning. Later we noticed that the sink was "sinking" due to the lack of any support beneath it. We called them and they sent over one of the demolition guys who braced it with a two by two. It turned out their regular contractor was busy, and they recommended another guy who came by, looked over the job, and gave me an estimate of almost $4,500 to restore the boxworks behind the intact cabinet doors. I later had an independent contractor do the repair work for approximately $1400. I felt like they viewed their part of the job as complete, and were disinterested in my satisfaction about the entire repair job, which they should have seeen through to completion.

The estimator, Skip arrived as scheduled, was able to quickly assess the situation, gave a rough estimate and committed to a formal quote that evening and a team the next morning if we needed it, even though we were heading into the New Year holiday.The quote was right in the middle of the range offered and the team was on site exactly when they said they would be. The technicians worked quickly and efficiently, got the area contained, opened up, inspected for mold and additional damage, cleaned and wiped down, and had dryers in place by early afternoon the same day. After a couple of days of drying, the area was ready for repairs. The process was handled extremely effectively and the third party industrial hygienist who did the routine mold test, was complementary on the quality of the work. The most important aspect of 911's response was how Skip handled the resident of the unit. She was very anxious about the possibility of mold, and the other restoration company we got a quote from played up those fears, in effect putting her in near hysterics. In dramatic contrast, Skip and Restoration 911 calmed her, explaining that this situation had none of the signs of mold, that the leak was clean water and the quick response would make mold very unlikely but they was carefully inspect the area and inform her if any issue was detected. Finally they would treat the area with fungicide to ensure no follow-on growth. Where 911 could have taken advantage of the obvious opportunity to increase its billing by simply allowing the resident's imagination go wild, Skip and team showed ethical and responsible behavior. They did the right thing. We have complete trust in 911 and have since hired them for another water incident in the building, with similar positive results.

Restoration 911 was called to deal with damage from a water leak that occurred between floors in a multi-unit building. The leak was a single, clean water event but did soak the ceiling insulation, joists, and drywall of the unit below.

They gave me a rough estimate and they said the amount would be between $3000 and $5000. They said they will have to first look up the walls and see the extent of the damage. They will have to see what’s on the inside. Overall they were pretty good. They suggested some alternatives to make sure that it doesn’t get worse and it shouldn’t happen again. They were pretty good. They sort of told me when they could do the work. I decided not to go ahead with them because I decided to do an entire remodel. I plan to pull down all the drywall and everything. I will use their services again in the future.

I got an estimate from Restoration 9-1-1. I did not use their services. They came out in January to give me the estimate. I had bought a house that had water damage already and so they gave me an estimate as to what it would take to fix it.

I emailed the company through Angie's List and had a response within an hour. Jimmy contacted me to schedule a consultation for the next morning. Skip came out, was very punctual, and proceeded to tell me his initial thoughts on what might be going on with this building. He said his crew could come out and sanitize the building, removing any and all aspects of the 'old house' smell. The crew came out first thing Monday morning, they tested the structure, completely sanitized the building from roof to floor and left the place smelling better than brand new. Seriously, my own house isn't that clean, LOL. I didn't realize they were coming that quickly and we had moved some gardening items in the building over the weekend. They moved all of the stuff out in nice, neat piles (in the shade, I might add, so it wouldn't get too hot or melt), and left their brochure/cards noting when they arrived, when they left, and where I could contact them if I had any questions. I received an invoice the next morning from Jimmy. I would absolutely call Restoration 9-1-1 for ANY need of this or any kind that they service. Heck, for the amazing job they did, I might have to find a reason for them to come back. They are wonderful!
