  OVERALL: Summer was fantastic to work with in every way. Richard, the plumber, was incredibly professional, respectful, and enjoyable to work with. He gave us a written estimate in advance (including how long the job would take), gave us honest advice about what work needed to be done and could wait, did a very thorough job, and finished the project in the amount of time he estimated. WORK DETAILS: The home we recently purchased was built in the 1800's and the plumbing previously installed was a jumbled mess of 1000ft of mostly galvanized pipe that was clogged, very dirty, and badly in need of replacement. This was an urgent job for us because we moved into this house and only then realized that we basically did not have access to consistent or clean water flow in the house. We were able to schedule Summer to come do this large job with only a few days wait. In one day, Richard removed all the old plumbing, installed a much more efficient and updated 200ft of piping (sorry, I don't remember the name of the material), installed a new garbage disposal under the sink complete with dishwasher lines, and installed new clothes washer lines. After he double checking his work, Richard then walked my partner and I through all his work so we could understand what he did and see the results for ourselves. It was great to work with someone who was so transparent, educational, and professional. This work did not include creating electrical connections for the clothing washer and dryer or the disposal, but we knew this in advance and were able to schedule an electrician to come out shortly after Summer finished this work. ADDITIONAL NOTES: As a ***** couple, I was very grateful that Richard was incredibly respectful and professional with us. As a femme person (and someone with disabilities), I often find that men in home repair fields can be very sexist with me implicitly, whereas Richard was both educational and respectful, not at all condescending. He was also very kind with our dogs, which was lovely. Because this was such a major and urgent job, cost was also obviously a factor and Summer gave us a very reasonable quote that included labor and parts and they stuck to that. I cannot more highly recommend Summer and their plumber, Richard, to do plumbing work in your space! We definitely plan to have them come back out for future plumbing (and likely other) work

  I am so amazed at the work Aaron, John and their helper Robbi. They are efficient, proficient and methodical about their work. They were on time each day and cleaned up before they left. They did not smoke or use profanity while working, which was so important to me. They did not mind me watching how they execute their plumbing skills. We also had a issue with our washer draining through existing plumbing. They moved the sink and created very neat plumbing along the wall behind the sink to flow into the new pump. My husband and I are so impressed with the quality of their work. We will DEFINITELY call them back on our upstairs bathroom shower problem

  Like clockwork they got it working and got us back on track. Really professional and reliable service. I had an issue on Sunday and reached out on Angie's List late at night. They contacted me the next day and quickly scheduled a pro to come out and take a look. It only took them a few minutes to assess the issue and provide a fix. They were able to clear the clog and get the kitchen sink flowing again. The pro also provided some helpful tips to keep it working for a long time so that we don't have any more issues

  First we called for a $64 tune up and was put on the schedule for a month from the date of call. This was fine as it was the beginning of Summer and expected as much. When the tech came out he said the A/C unit was not functioning and it would cost additional money to fix. It was either pay $90 for a tech to say our A/C unit was broken or pay up additional money for him to diagnose it. We paid an additional $280 for a capacitor on top of the service charge of $90. After further research we found out it is at most a 15 min job to replace the capacitor and a $50 part. Thanks for price gouging. I understand you need to make a profit, but a 200% margin is a little much. After that, the tech said it would cost an additional $300 or so to refill the refrigerant and an additional charge to find out if there is a leak in the system. After already spending upwards of $300, our A/C unit turns on but it doesn't cool because we did not agree to the refrigerant since we didn't know if there was a leak in it or not. The tech did not clean the unit and offered to replace our unit and our furnace for $8k. After $300 our A/C isn't usable and we had no diagnosis. We just had an $8k recommendation

  I am disappointed by their scheduling of furnace/AC tune-up. This was the third time I contacted this business for a tune-up using their deal. In each of the first 2 occasions, they pushed my requested tune-up time 2-3 months out. This time, I requested tune-up 2 months in advance. However, the associate again told me that they had to push it 6 months out, due to their technicians’ capacity and prioritization of customers with service agreements. The associate also suggested me to call 8 months in advance to schedule a tune-up. What? For a tune-up? The deal would have expired in 6 months. Apparently, this business either doesn’t have the capacity, or doesn’t care about tune-up requests from customers without service agreements. In whatever case, it would be transparent and save others’ time, to simply add your limitations into the fine points of the deal
