DEDICATED TO ART ACTIVISM

Protest signs, street murals, graffiti and poster art are powerful symbols of the impactful role visual imagery can play on political expression. Cause and protest art have been used as forms of political and social dissent throughout American history.

I am dedicated to committing my talent, skills and passion to creating images that express my support for political, social, economic and environmental change.

Poster art is created on an ongoing basis. You can be notified about new releases by subscribing below.

Hope or Hell 2

The severity of recent extreme weather events amplifies the urgency to dramatically reduce our dependence on fossil fuels. Decisive climate action is needed to secure a positive outcome for both present and future generations. The Hope or Hell 2 poster is designed to express this stark reality.

How Do You Like Your Earth?

This is the third in a series of posters addressing global climate change: what we take from the earth, how we take it, how efficiently we use it, and who much waste we leave behind. The posters will focus on bringing awareness to global climate urgency, industrial practices, consumer behavior, mitigation approaches and behavioral adaption efforts.

Our Democracy’s In Peril

After the events that led up to the January 6th attack on the Capital, it had become evident that the authoritarian and radical character of the conservative movement is opposed to a truly free and democratic society. These actions demonstrate that the freedoms afforded us by the Constitution cannot be taken for granted. Our democracy is far more fragile than we thought. It’s imperative that we strive to strengthen our institutions of democracy, that we insure all citizens have an equal right to vote, and that we continuously demand our voices be heard — SCREAM LOUD!

“Cheers to the Little Guy” Poster

This poster was created to represent the ongoing issue of income inequity across America. Exacerbated by the pandemic, low wages, rising housing costs, and growing inflation are placing too many Americans in peril, as the “American dream” becomes increasingly out of reach. Future posters will address solutions to this growing problem that threatens economic stability, not just for lower income populations, but for us all. The 18″x 24″ limited edition poster is available at Scream-Loud.com

“Place Your Ballot Here” Poster

In response to the multi-state effort by republican lawmakers to implement laws designed to suppress voters’ ability to cast their ballots — particularly voters of color, I have created the Place Your Ballots Here poster. The shredder voting box clearly represents the suppression effort and calls for an end to the Jim Crow style legislation being passed into law in more than half of U.S. States. Scream Loud! Scream Loud Hope or Hell Poster

The urgency to dramatically reduce greenhouse gas emissions is increasing exponentially. Decisive climate action is needed to secure a positive outcome for both present and future generations. The Hope or Hell poster is designed to express the stark reality of choosing not to act. Although there is movement in the right direction, present efforts are diminished by the speed of warming. Without more aggressive action, unfortunately, the outcome may be as bleak as the poster conveys. Scream loud! The 18″x 24″ limited edition poster is available at Scream-Loud.com

Global Warming Urgency

Representing our commitment to climate awareness, we have created the “Consume Less, Live More” — Voices for Change poster. This is the first in a series addressing global climate change: what we take from the earth, how we take it, how efficiently we use it, and how we give back to the earth. The posters will focus on bringing awareness to global climate urgency, industrial practices, consumer behavior, mitigation approaches and behavioral adaption efforts.

“Say No To Jim Crow” Poster Created to Support Equal Voting Rights In Georgia

The Georgia State legislature’s recent expansion of systemic racism through the enactment of laws designed to suppress voters of color is reminiscent of the Jim Crow laws evoked at the turn of the last century. Stacey Abrams has aptly called these discriminatory efforts “Jim Crow 2.0”. No matter how pretty you try wrap it, it’s simply a desperate attempt to disenfranchise black voters — SCREAM LOUD! In support of equal voting rights in the State of Georgia, Scream Loud has created the Say No to Jim Crow! poster. The 18″x 24″limited edition poster is available at Scream-Loud.com

Commemorating Deb Haaland’s Appointed as Interior Secretary

In honor of Secretary Haaland’s recent appointment to her distinguished position in President Biden’s Cabinet, Scream Loud has produced a limited edition poster. It commemorates her historic achievement as the first Native American to hold a Cabinet-level position. She will be responsible for the management Federal lands and natural resources. Her duties will further include overseeing Native American affairs and how the Federal government’s treaties with indigenous people are fulfilled. The poster is the first in the New American Heroes series, recognizing the diverse individuals that demonstrate honor, courage and tenacity.

Scream Loud Debuts “Democracy Prevails” Poster

After the January 6th attack on the Capital, it’s become evident that the increasingly authoritarian behavior of the conservative movement has transformed into violent assault on American democracy. Fortunately rational parties responded to uphold our institutions of freedom, and democracy prevailed — this time. These events demonstrate that our Constitutional freedoms cannot be taken for granted. Our democracy is far more fragile than we thought. It’s imperative that we strengthen our institutions of democracy, insure all citizens have an equal right to vote and continuously demand our voices be heard — SCREAM LOUD!
